Krogan vanguard is excellent for average players to solo gold vs geth.. his damage without reegar/inc is meh in comparison to soldier

Human
And arguably the Juggernaut and Vorcha.

The Kroldier has got one edge over the likes of Destroyer, Tsol, TGI, GI, AIU (and so on) as he is less weapon dependant. As one start to unlock guns, mods etc... he is going to start moving down the list even with incindiary cheese.

The N7 Destroyer is basically a Flamer-less Geth Trooper. So, about the 3rd best Soldier in the game.

Best Soldiers (Platinum):

1) Geth Trooper
2) Turian
3) Destroyer
4) Human
5) Krogan

2) Batarian
3) Human
4) Geth Trooper
5) Destroyer

On Gold.

On Platinum you may find BB useful once or twice per wave since the majority of enemies are immune to its stagger and can shrug off its damage. However, FE damage scales up with difficulty.

That's why Batarian > Krogan on Gold, but Krogan > Batarian on Platinum.

2. Turian Sentinel(Arc Pistol).
3. Drell Adept(Claymore).

No Krogan Soldier, sorry. He's very good in some situations(i. e. Glacier/Reapers), but Vorcha Sentinel is better than him, imho.

Yeah Turian is good, but arguably he's a less bulky Krogan with little to no crowd control.

Sure he does fantastic with weapons, and is probably the best Saber user in the game, but is that enough to say he's better than the Krogan? Hard to say.

BB is close to useless on Platinum. Unless you run with Cyclonic III/IV you won't be able to get in range to use it >90% of the time. I've stopped using Cyclonics long ago.

I agree with Leland, IMO the krogan soldier AND batarian soldier equally are the best kits in the game thanks to inferno grenade and inciendiery ammo cheese. To me both are equal, Krogan has more tankiness, batarian has ballistic blades..

my cd is currently too scratched to play mass effect, but when I get it fixed, I will bumb this thread and ask for 1v1 thunderdome challengers.. Because if there's a kit other then the geth cheese flamer trooper or the fury that can compete with an inferno grenade kit then I want to see it first hand...
