Judging by the amount of war assets the batarian fleet gives you when you persuade that guy on the Citadel, I'd say they number enough to organize a golf-club.
How many Batarians are left after the Reaper invasion?

Less than the other races. They suffered the highest casualties by far.
There might still be more Batarians than there are Quarians, since there were billions of Batarians from the beginning and only a few million Quarians.
The Batarians probably lost a lot of people though. (assuming there are more than a few handful Quarians left given the choices made by the largest group of players)
Hopefully all the races of the original ME will be there in the future of Mass Effect.

I'm sure there are some refugess hiding in the Batarian countryside. After all the Crusible put an end to the Harvest, there might still bea few billion Batarians left.

I imagine pre-war the batarians had the same rough population numbers as humanity (they've been painted as being pretty much the "dark mirror" equal to humanity in most ways) and considering the Reapers focused on Earth, the batarians will likely have more people overall left after the war than humanity.
I'd also like to note that all Reaper Cannibals are actually made of both a batarian and a human (look at the gun arm), so for every batarian killed by being made into a Cannibal, so was one human.

Well they have a fleet and there are many batarians outside of kite's nest so i estimate their numbers in between 10000 - 20000 again this is a educated guess given the lack of info in game.
Way too low.
Khar'Shan alone had billions of people, and it wasn't the only world settled by the Batarians. A popular misconception is that the Reapers completely annihilated the Batarian worlds they conquered, but that isn't the case. The game notes that refuges from Khar'Shan have said that, "resistance has created a bond among commoners." So like Earth, there are still people resisting the Reapers and the entire world hasn't been annihilated/processed. Another one of the Batarian planet descriptions also mentions a resistance.
The game also doesn't say the Batarians are finished. It says that the Hegemony is finished.
That sounds about right......

Only 300k died during arrival. Compared to the turians losing 5 million a day on palavan, I would say they actually may be in better shape than most.
That is how many Shep killed destroying the relay. If their home world was like the others then they lost billions just from the home world alone. Then could probably add another 2 million from neighouring worlds, moons, space stations.
