The Warden and Hawke had the same thing in Trailers, but in-game content didn't show a thing about that.

Hawke can get blue glowing eyes with a potion from the Black Emporium.

The Warden and Hawke from the trailers don't exist! :D The real Warden is a rogue, teenage elf girl and the real Hawke is a warrior with apparent, Rivaini descent.

I thought default warden was a male Cousland? And default Hawke was that Duncan wannabe blood mage?

The default canon for Inquisition, according to Mark Darrah is:

DAO: Dalish Elf, warden dead, Alistair king
DA2: Mage, sides with Mages

You know, I've beaten Origins 10 times, twice as a DE, and yet none of my Wardens exactly match that.

I think he probably misspoke. This will be one option for you to take IF you don't use an import.

Yeah, that's what 'default' means to me - this is what you get if you don't import and don't tweak things. He did say that there would be some tweakability.

It wasn't default that I had a problem with, it was 'canon'. Posted Image

Well, one thought I had last night playing through a new Origin, is that when you drink from the Joining Cup, your eyes go non existant looking.

Though they are shown as white, you /could/ imagine they are the glowing blue, if you would like. >_> That is what I did, it just kinda clicked for me when I saw it for like the 20th time. ;p

Ah, got it. I come from the standpoint that everyone has their own canon based on previous playthroughs, but if you haven't played DA games before, BioWare sets up a default canon for you, which is what this is. So I'm not worried when BioWare reps use the word 'canon', although I understand that a lot of people are. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Not a problem. And I suppose I can see where they would state that it was canon as it would be for those that don't use an import.

And, back on topic, the glowing eyes thing for the warden was simply part of the cinematic trailer. I don't really understand why it was there, but there you have it. No glowing blue eyes.

The trailers were made by another company, Blur Studio, which is probably why the trailers have things that have nothing to do with in-game content.
