Nice. You're with me. CEM Full is the way to go.
Well yea. Go big or go home as they say.

On the topic of "go big or go home," what I'm calling version C for "complete" is up at Nexus. CEM Full, MEHEMv0.5 to CEM (either version) and JAM v1.5 to CEM (either version) are all available. Technically labeled as "-beta" I do believe they are ready for general use. However, since I seem to have OCD with modding this game, I'm leaving the beta tag until I'm confident I haven't missed anything or screwed something up.
CEM Lite is coming, soon I think. There is just one little hitch and someone who's a lot better at modding conditionals, bools, and all that, is essentially doing the work for me since I can't make heads or tales of it real well.
Some quick highlights.
- Textures are already installed in CEM Full and you can still use texplorer and texmod with CEM and the Citadel DLC. The installer explains anything you need to know.
- That video going from the apartment to the sushi place with the big, freak'n "Sanctuary" advertisement right there. Edited. Also, edited out the other Sanctuary ad that shows up on the street loading vid.
- Worked really hard on fixing up sub-par lines. An example would be the Kapesh-Yakshi scene. All three Shepard responses at the end should be solid now.
Also, for the curious. This is the master excel file I used to try and keep track of everything with CEM itself.
I might do a dev diary for, to borrow a line from Mike Rowe, literally dozens of viewers who will tune in. But if you've ever wondered what sort of goes into modding, well, there's a taste.

does that mean the advertisement textures are running preloaded into the mod or is it Smarteck's Citadel DLC HR pack?

Good question. The advertisement textures are preloaded and none are Smarteck's. I reused a few and then made some of my own. Don't worry, I think I pulled it off. But, that's also why it's called a beta right now as I can make changes if things aren't up to par.
Smarteck's Citadel DLC HR pack I don't think touches any of the ads I edited anyway and I actually tested, twice, by installing his textures with texplorer and it worked out fine. I was using these with texplorer but you can still use texmod if you prefer.

So with his mod you basically can experience the MEHEM ending and then get "teleported" to the Citadel DLC and play all parts of it? Or does it just include the party, so basically the ending of the Citadel DLC?

Both of what you list above is correct. CEM Full is used for the entire Citadel DLC as an epilogue and the MEHEM to CEM download "teleports" you from the MEHEM to the apartment. If you play part of the Citadel DLC and save the party for last, then you install CEM Lite, still use MEHEM to CEM, and get teleported to the apartment to throw the party.
For now, grab it from the Nexus site since that has the latest versions. If you're interested in CEM Lite, I'm close to getting the latest version up. I just have one hurdle to clear before upload.

If you have any questions, let me know. The installers should have pretty good information, particularly the license agreement, that should explain how it all works.
Looking forward to the next version of CEM Lite! ![]()
Recently finished a Citadel run with this mod and it is genuinely brilliant. There are a couple of lines that don't quite sound right because of where the edits have had to be made but I'm sure Deager will iron them out, as the current version is really well polished.

Wow, that's great work. I already downloaded it, should have done that before because a lot of my questions were answered in the readme.
Thanks for your answer anyway.
Keep up the good work, it's always nice to see modders like you working hard to make a good game even better and give every player their prefered gaming experience. I have to say that I'm always impressed by modders who sacrifice a lot of their free time purely out of passion for a game, developing all these things for the rest of us gamers. Surely will endorse this mod at nexusmods.
I still have some questions though. I remember reading something about problemes using your mod with texture mods somewhere, but I didn't find the part again. So I've wanted to install some mods for better textures and alternative squad member appereances. More precisely, I mean these mods: ME 3 Character Texture Overhaul, Tali Full Face Mod and HR Garrus Alternate Armor. Will this cause problemes, if yes, is there a workaround?

In the past what you may have read was that yes, mods as DLC, just didn't work with texplorer really well. So I offered a manual install version with the files where you'd manually place the files into the Default.sfar and all that fun. I'm very bullish that the below solution is going to work out. There may even be more developments on that in the positive than I'm aware of.
In theory, we're in good shape now with mods as DLC and getting texplorer and tpf/dds tools to work with it. It's not completely solid yet for every user but the SVN of me3explorer seems to work for most people from what I gather. My long-term hope is that a sourceforge version, like 110K to replace 109K comes out, which will be very reliable for texplorer users. Right now, this link has good info.

As for your specific texture questions...I'm not sure. I know that I've always been using repaired textures by other people from...ah, I'll find the link later. If it's not a repaired, ready for texplorer texture, I still do rely on texmod for those few. I'll try to find the link tonight (and hopefully not forget to check back.) EDIT: Here's what I use. http://me3explorer.f...d-tpf-t610.html/EDIT
That's why I also included the 12 advertisement textures for CEM Full this time AND ran texplorer 3 times with Freddy AG's Citadel DLC tpf files (which had been patched by someone else) to confirm that they would all load in properly. At least for me, testing was successful. The idea was, for the end user who is just not sure how to use texmod or texplorer; I wanted to make sure that person got the textures needed to not break the illusion of CEM being after the war.
And thanks for the nice note. It started with just thinking the Citadel DLC felt really weird during my trilogy run at the time, and I thought I might prefer it at the end of the story and game instead of a "reunion show special" which would just be played at the end of the game. I'm hoping I can get a dev diary up here to shed light on that and why I kept working on it after all this time.

Hey, do share please. You were using version C of CEM Full right? I love to know the bad lines. It's true that I can't always fix them but maybe you've come across something I missed or hadn't thought through enough.

I've followed these steps and the tree scan etc worked and the texture mods are working too. Might need some time to end this playthrough though, but I will share my experience and say if it has worked with MEHEM to CEM!
Sure, I think a lot of people would be interested in a dev diary.

can you get onto the citadel refugee camp? if you can then that means the problem is fixed, the problem was some issue with the TOC that forced an infinite loading screen. if so then it's time to begin a new full series playthrough that will also be running kinkojiro's Galaxy map and war asset enhancement mod when he gets Beta 0.5 out. along with a canonized fanfic that establishes a further background to our favorite Scottish engineer. i'll urge viewers to read it. if you want to know more about it feel free to ask. welp. time to get cracking in the installation. i'll advise when/if more problem arise. also here is that galaxy map mod if you are interested: http://me3explorer.f...-mod-t1514.html
@Tin-kicker01
Just to clarify, are you talking about the refugee camp access at all during ME3 and with regards to adding textures, or are you talking about refugree camp access during CEM Full?
If it's the former, I know that often the Zaeed conversation restoration mod can cause texture scanning problems for some reason (although I'm hoping I, or someone can fix that) but it also can simply be something else as I don't like to just blame that mod as a catch-all.
If it's the latter, then yes, that's fixed in that, you can't get to the refugee camp or anywhere you shouldn't with CEM Full now as I blocked access until the goodbye scene and you can only go to the goodbye scene when it's time.
And of course, if you meant something else, just let me know.

i was referring to the TOC issues that I used to have when running jam+Cem full (the fix was just going without them). i'll test it when i have got the reinstall done, and as for the restored zaeed convo mod i think AVPen is actually working on fixing that, in the same methof he used to fix the restored ken and gabby recruitment mod, setting them to be DLC rather than a PCC replacement, i can already assure you that the RKBR mod works with texture mods via me3 explorer now since AVPen worked his magic.

Another change has been the SVN version of me3explorer is getting better. That could be a factor.
AVPen is actually getting the mods as "mods as DLC" but the Zaeed issue has an issue with the hex essentially. I already got a version working with texplorer, it's just that I broke the positioning and therefore camera shots of Zaeed. Anyway, if there are issues with stuff still on the new version, let me know.

This is the first news that I've heard that I'm working on this, lol.
To be clear, I'm not currently working on a DLC version of the Zaeed mod - last I heard, I think Deager was going to take a crack at fixing some of the hex issues with that mod first.

thanks for the clarification. i just kinda listened to the rumors that you were.
Deager, I have watched some videos on your Youtube Channel (those goodbye examples, you know) and I'd like to ask you if you perhaps have one with MaleShep and Kaidan example ![]()
I haven't played this mod of yours yet, because I don't own the Citadel DLC (which is kind of like a requirement to play this) but hopefully at some point in a near future I will have it and then I'll play CEM ![]()
But I'll have to say, this mod sounds really awesome and the general idea of it is really captivating. Putting it to play after the final event is just awesome ^^
@VFerreira93
I think that video will play out identically to the Femshep/Kaidan example. But if you still want to see it to get the full effect I can upload one (and while I'm at it, Femshep/Liara and any other combos I'm not thinking of.) Just let me know.
I hope that if you get the mod you enjoy it. It's been a long road. ![]()

Only if you don't mind, of course. I don't want to bother you with this xD
Not only was I going to get this done since it's quick, and I needed a break from CEM Lite testing, it serves another purpose too. This is the new music option. I didn't run by any reviewers; I just wanted it that way for myself. So, maybe it's poor, I don't know. But you can check it out.
I also added Liara and Femshep with the original Citadel DLC "Farewell and Into the Inevitable" song, which, given the name, is partially why I changed it way back when. But some people hated that I removed it so it's back as an option. This ending with Femshep actually is pulled off better than Broshep because the camera is a little different and basically isn't on Liara when she utters the only part of the line I changed. So, lucky me.

The new music option for the "Goodbye Kaidan" video is kinda nice, I liked it ![]()
I haven't seen a lot of videos regarding the other available LI, except Cortez and... Vega(?). I try and think that in my next playthrough I'll be romancing another character to see how it goes but at the end of the day, I'll end up always saving Kaidan in ME1 and then all the feels return and... well, MShep and Kaidan are my OTP of this trilogy, I can't resist them xD
