Heads up, with me3explorer, after a tree scan you cannot install MEHEM or your mod, Deagen. At least I can't. Biogame folder goes from 18.8 to 29.3 gigs in size. Check out the thread for KFreon's change details.

Thanks for the heads up. This is using the newest version of me3explorer, is that correct? And I'm guessing you're using the manual install versus the installer? Just trying to make sure I know the issue fully and can get the new version ready for it.

Yeah the newest version does something very different, check out the news release on the latest svn. I use the installer, not the manual version.

OK, thanks. I'll be sure to get the latest version and see what's up here. I'm pretty sure Wavion is willing to help with another installer for me but I have to see if that's going to make his job difficult as he's doing me a big favor.

In the meantime, I'm hoping most people who download the installer aren't screwing around with me3explorer and for those who do they are able to use the manual files just fine still. Question for you; can you do the manual install of v0.3 now?

I've never used the manual, does it use mod files? If it does there's issues Ottemis talks about with older version mod files here: http://me3explorer.f...-me3-t1162.html

Fortunately, no mod files. Just the actual afc, tlk, and pcc files you need plus the new version will have a bin (although I recommend using me3explorer TOC DLC bin updater instead)

Looks like Mr. Fob and the Thane mod folks are going to modify their installers for the non-sfar evolution of me3explorer: http://me3explorer.f...8941.html#p8941

I have a question. As I only recently found this mod, I didn't have the chance to experience the changes yet, but I saw this on the first page:

Q: How did you deal with the goodbye scene?

A: It's largely intact but given the minor line tweaks and music change

What music was changed and more importantly, to what was it changed?

I'm sorry if there is an answer for this already, I didn't read thru everything, because I didn't want to see spoilers.

I never did talk about it so you didn't miss it. The music is technically a bit of a mix but it starts with the ME3 "press any key"/1st part of Shep speech, then goes into unveiling of Normandy which translates to the ending music for ME1 before the credits roll. I know that sounds crazy but I think you'll find it works out ok.

I'm hoping to get this mod updated within 30 days. Currently I'm on the last bit of clean-up and the goodbye scene has a few more lines changed and/or the sound quality greatly improves because of a new technique I can use.

That was fast :o Thank you and that actually sounds awesome. Can't wait to see the edits in game.

Wish you luck with the update :)

Yes I for one like that music you put together, good work.

Just a quick update. The new version is coming along well. Since I've had a lot of questions and requests about the goodbye scene, here ya go. It compares the original Citadel DLC to CEM beginning with Joker and, as you can see, Kaidan as the LI.

Looking forward to the new version also I really did enjoy the current version :D - makes it much more easy to say goodbye to Shepard and her (his) friends, since I played it after the "normal" ending (of course with MEHEM ;) ). Now my phantasy tells me, they all go along well and continue protecting the galaxy :D.

Thanks again for your amazing work Deager

Thanks for the note Letha. v0.3 is pretty solid from what I'm hearing from players. I started writing a note here about the minor changes for the next release but as I thought about it...it's fairly comprehensive. It will still feel and play very similarly for the player but I'll include an extensive change log when I release it. In the meantime, enjoy v0.3!

Awesome!  B)

When will this be available?  And will it have an installer, so you just run that after MEHEM (or even combined)?  :)

Good questions. Lil One

When will this be available?

As soon as I test it fully. Right now, non-romance options are not working, I'm not sure if the lite version of CEM works with this, plus a few other issues to test. I'm pretty committed to it and would like to make this weeks and not months.

And will it have an installer, so you just run that after MEHEM (or even combined)?

The plan is to have an installer. What I don't know yet is if the installer should be from the MEHEM side or CEM side. I can see it working both ways but Wavion, who actually makes the installer, would probably be the one to know and Fob too. A combined installer might make it easier. I know making the installer is not a quick process so whatever works best for Wavion is the way to go.

Anyway, I'll be spending a lot of time testing to make sure other things haven't broken.

I know it would add more work but could there be an option to allow you to choose if you want to go straight into CEM or not?

I'm sure it could be done but I'm not sure how complicated it is. Flexibility would have to be involved since not everyone who has CEM has MEHEM and not everyone who has MEHEM has CEM.

EDIT: I like the manual install since it's so easy; just tell people what to put where. But I do recognize that messing around in me3explorer is not something everyone is comfortable with.

I know the work would be a lot of time and effort on your part.

Personally though I wouldn't want to go straight into the The Citadel. I'd like the option to mop up other things as well.

Reeeeally nice!
Feels much more of a natural transition! This is how it should be!
In my opinion - just make it part of MEHEM. By now, everyone who is using MEHEM has played the trilogy or at least ME3 in a two digit amount of times so there is really no surprises left in regards of what order you play the DLC's. Why stay in old habits I mean? :) This felt refreshing, I like it!
Keep up the good work! :)

Manual install of CEM v1 and MEHEM to CEM transition files are available.

I know I said v0.3 was it but really, I cannot think of anything else I really can do with the mod. Only 2 little things didn't make the mod and they're minor so I'm calling this done. Enjoy.
