Question about Save Data Transfer -- Origins to Awakening

When you import a character, are you able to redesign your "Grey Warden's" appearance (face, voice, hair, eta), or are you only able to do that without an import playing as the new "Warden Commander"? Would like to know before I decide my ending to Origins.

K, that is not a fun thing to hear. I wanted to grow my Grey Warden's hair longer.
