Recently I've started another playthrough of ME2 using my character that already finished the game. We all know that upgrades don't carry over, but I was relentless to get them so I followed the wiki "guide"masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/PC_Tweaks_%28Mass_Effect_2%29. As the guide says, you need to either add or modify one of the "NGPlusPlotVariables" settings (it isn't very clear) and add the upgrade variables that you can get from above. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do so. I tried literally every combination. Creating new settings, updating the current ones, typing it with quotes, without quotes, spaces, without spaces. Nothing really worked except one setting that gave me 5/5 SMG damage upgrade. Weird thing is, even when I removed that line from Coalesced, I still had that upgrade. I tried adding other upgrades the same way, for assault rifles, heavy pistols. It didn't work.
Has anyone figured out how to enable the console to type in the cheat codes for the upgrades or how to edit the coalesced properly ? I tried patching the files with the PCC patcher, it's supposed to enable the console by using the Tilde key in-game. Doesn't seem to work for me.

I got it to work. All you need to do is add a bind with all of the upgrades' variables, then press the button in-game.
