Hi, I am late playing ME3 and just getting to the bit where there is the really difficult reputation check. I have a bunch of sidequests to do, and am at Priority: Geth dreadnought. So quite a few quests before it happens.
My reputation bar looks fully filled out. I heard I need at least 4 bars paragon. I currently have just under 4 bars paragon and just over 1 bar renegade. I did not realize there would be this check so got over 1 bar of renegade without thinking about it. I keep getting +5 reputation, +5 paragon etc, and am obviously getting as much paragon as possible, but the bar never seems to change.
Is 5 bars of reputation the maximum? Can renegade be changed to paragon? Or am I not able to get to 4 bars paragon now? I hope not or it seems daft that I keep getting more reputation/paragon.
Any help much appreciated.

Yeah, you hit the max, but it still displays choice results anyways.
Not sure you need exactly 4 bars to pull that off (I think I might've done it with a little less than that once), but probably not irrelevant... you have more than enough anyways.

You need four bars total, not four bars of one color.

Paragon points vs Renegade points only affect facial scaring and some auto-dialogue as well as the Control narration.
Its not like ME2.
