Liara and Tali don't throw themselves at Shepard. I don't remember too much about Kelly.

Agreed, while both have an romantic intreset they can be turned down when they express said intrest easily enough and move on.
Though an argument can be made that Liara gets a bit stalkerish in ME3

Is there really a difference? Liara can only say what the writers... Write. Blaming one is the same as blaming the other.

Liara is consistently ranked as one of the most popular characters. Clearly, the writers have done something right with her.

Kelly is pretty cheap, Massively is right in that one. Tali might be madly in love with Shep, but she holds herself back, because she doesn't seem to think she has any real chances anyway. Liara can be turned down, but she then becomes an awkward stalker and seems somewhat jealous if Shep is already in a relationship.
Yeah, the way she has extremely personal files on Shep's other potential LIs(e.g. Tali's nerve stim programs and Miranda's dating website history) isn't at all creepy. Aethya mentions how Liara is still interested in Shep. Liara is also once quite vicious against Tali, if you dump her for Tali.Barquiel wrote...
That's nonsense. After Liara expresses her interest in Shepard in ME1 she never brings up the topic again if you end the romance here. In ME3, it's Shepard who expresses his/her interest in Liara ("I want to be more than friends"). She also takes being dumped rather well...compared to certain other characters.Necanor wrote...

When is this? It's not before the geth dreadnaught mission, in which if you dump Liara for Tali it's actually Tali that's more aggressive.
Tali: Anything we need to....discuss?
Liara: No, I just hope you two are happy together.
Tali: Thank you.
That sounds pretty dignified to me. Are you thinking of the scenario where the player starts the dreadnaught mission while still technically flagged for both romances? Because that's when the nerve-stim pro convo happens.

The best thing I've found is just to choose every Renegade type option in ME1. Then she'll salute Shepard and see herself as nothing more than a soldier. Then tell her that her hacking quest is a waste of time in ME2, and never play LotSB. Then pretty much ignore her in ME3. If you skip some dialogue, then she'll never ask to go up to Shep's cabin and talk about the time capsule or anything like that (I suppose it might be based on a Reputation score?).
Don't mean to be too off-topic, but that's a way to keep the stalker stuff out of sight. Like any real life stalker, if you give them even the slightest amount of attention, you're just digging your own hole.
