The best thing I've found is just to choose every Renegade type option in ME1. Then she'll salute Shepard and see herself as nothing more than a soldier. Then tell her that her hacking quest is a waste of time in ME2, and never play LotSB. Then pretty much ignore her in ME3. If you skip some dialogue, then she'll never ask to go up to Shep's cabin and talk about the time capsule or anything like that (I suppose it might be based on a Reputation score?).

Don't mean to be too off-topic, but that's a way to keep the stalker stuff out of sight. Like any real life stalker, if you give them even the slightest amount of attention, you're just digging your own hole.

You should really check the definition of stalking.

Stalking: noun. A form of harassment generally comprised of repeated persistent following with no legitimate reason and with the intention of harming, or so as to arouse anxiety or fear of harm in the person being followed. Stalking may also take the form of harassing telephone calls, computer communications, letter-writing, etc.

Did Liara do that? No...

She's on my ship and I can't seem to throw her out of the airlock. That's stalkish enough for me.

Seriously though, she's not the dangerous stalker type. She's more like the chick that followed around Wayne in Wayne's world.

It all really boils down to the fact that you can't kill her, hey..

Liara and Tali's conversation is pretty awkward, it goes like this:

Tali: Hello Liara, how are-

Liara: I KNOW WHEN YOU MASTURBATE TALI

Tali:...

How so?

She is on your ship because cerberus destroyed the SB ship. The plan was for Admiral Anderson to use the Normandy as a mobile command center, it therefore has a top-notch communication system (the quantum-thingy), which is exactly what Liara needs.

And you know that the Yahg-Broker already had these information about your squadmates, yes?

Yeah, I can imagine what went through her head when she was looking for important data in the SB's base:

"Alright I'm looking for important, classified data here. Let's see...oh, so that's what Miranda does in her free time...huh, I didn't know Tali was into this kinda stuff. Oh, a deep and personal conversation between Garrus and his estranged family. How about Jack's chatroom history? Yeah, this data is very important and relevant, I'd better forward it to Shep and memorize it perfectly."

Not creepy.

Not especially. For one, it seems to be that Liara provided Shepard access to all files the Shadow Broker had on her crew and associates. I don't see how Legion's gamerscore is relevant otherwise.

If you found your friend's receipt for a sex toy (or in Tali's case, several!), you wouldn't mercilessly mock them for it? That's a ridiculous notion.

Not unless I was intentionally trying to be a dick, no.

Regardless, she wasn't doing to because Tali is her friend, but to embarrass her in front of Shepard as a one-up in the triangle. And I say that as someone who really likes Liara.

Edit: At least, that would be my interpretation in a triangle situation. If this exchange also happens if you romance neither of them, then I can see the "friends giving each other a hard time" thingy.

Yeah, especially in front of her boyfriend. Liara truly is a good friend.

Or you could just accept it as a bit of fun that really wouldn't fit anywhere except for a giant information ship.

You're getting far too worked up about this.

Just don't play LotSB. I'm not sure what the appeal is anyways (for non Liara fans). Unless you need some leveling done.

Tali makes a catty remark if you take both of them on the Geth dreadnought. Liara is just standing her ground. The Ashley/Tali banter is even worse. ("Thanks. It's so nice of you to actually help Shepard this time.")

I have little sympathy for Tali in these scenarios.

Liara only reveals the information if both were romanced and Shepard went back to Liara. If that is not the case then they are quite friendly with each other.

Tali: Thanks...Shadow Broker
Liara: Ah yes, Nutri-Scan 2.0, Human Vessels 3.6, Nerve Stim-Pro
Tali: ...

Tali totally was the aggressor.

As someone whose favourite characters are Liara and Tali, this conversation is hilarious to me.

Indeed, since both characters acts catty against the other if the roles are changed. Showing them both to be equally petty.

I'd think a person with a mustache twirling Morrigan avatar would be a champion of hate. :\\

I feel like everyones being too harsh about Liara doing this and doing that. In ME1 she's an asari that had like, no social skills, no, she didn't even have normal emotions and could barely understand humor. She's going to screw up every now and then. And in ME2 she's changed massively, probably too fast and not in a healthy way. The writers don't depict her as this perfect black and white hero. Having files on Shepard isn't a big deal. She did what she did to bring him back from the dead. And knowing that Tali bought some toy isn't that bad. I bet most asari are probably worst.

I think it's pretty fun in general, and has my 2nd favorite boss fight in the series. And not Shadow Broker himself. That may be 3rd.

Damn it you two!   THIS IS NO PLACE FOR LOGICAL DISCUSSION OR YOUR USELESS INDECISION ON WHICH ROMANCE IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR AND LESS PETTY (clearly Liara)!  Get your bias on and dont come back until youre sure of which side youre on!  An inability to empathise, find some respect, or attempt positive understanding of the other characters or romances is also a plus.
