It wouldn't be called North Africa if it was part of the Middle East. Speaking as a geography expert, a political scientist, and as a veteran of OEF, no part of Africa is part of the Middle East or vice Versa.
These are two completely separate continents. The Middle East is in Asia.
North Africa is in... Africa.

I always loved the Quarians, from their Middle Eastern nomad(Tuareg) theme to their awesome accents.
Yes, I know. They mainly live in North Africa between Algeria and Egypt(at least a part of the ethnic group). It's just simpler to call them Middle Eastern, since most people have never heard of them. Anyway, your point is rather irrelevant to my comment.
Funny, last time I was in Egypt, it was part of Africa. To the best of my very extensive knowledge, it still is in Africa.
And Iran is not in the Middle East. It's in Western Asia, or Persia as it used to be called.

Very much so. I think the same applies to the Quarians. They go into settled star systems and strip mine planets that don't belong to them. I'm fine with helping them out, but they don't really get to just show up and take what they want or need.
What else can they do? They have to survive somehow and no one wants to help them.

- Kel Tamasheq are indigenous Africans
- Most are concentrated in West Africa, not Tamazgha (grey areas like Azawad notwithstanding)
- No part of Africa is in "the Middle East"
- Because Africa is Africa
I'm assuming what he's getting at is that North African states might as well be in the West Asia because the vast majority are a part of the Arab League (does this mean Somalia is also in West Asia?). Failing the geography check, though, it bears mentioning that not all West Asians are Arabic, not all Arab descendents are West Asian nationals, and Arab presence in Africa is the result of centuries of brutal colonisation. They are not indigenous.

The Middle East is a region that roughly encompasses a majority of Western Asia (excluding the Caucasus) and Egypt. The term is considered to be Eurocentric and used as a synonym for Near East, in opposition to Far East. The corresponding adjective is Middle-Eastern and the derived noun is Middle-Easterner. The largest ethnic group in the Middle East are Arabs, with Turks, Turkomans, Persians, Kurds, Azeris, Copts, Jews, Maronites, Assyro-Chaldeans, Circassians, Somalis, Armenians, Druze and numerous additional minor ethnic groups forming other significant populations.
Also, Cairo (Egypt) is listed as the 2nd largest city in the middle east.

Egypt is not in the Middle East beyond the Sinai landbridge. It's not politically considered to be a part of the Middle East however. It has power in the Middle East and it is a major Arab state, but it isn't defined as Middle Eastern, since only two of 27 governates in Egypt are a part of Asia.

They survive, or they die. If they try to take my resources, I will shoot at them. If they shoot back, the Council will come running.
I don't care about their fate one way or another. I do think their ships are rather useful against the Reapers, but to be honest, that's about as far as my opinion of them goes. I'm rather apathetic to them.

I don't think we're to take a gameplay mechanic as accurate to the lore.
Unless you also think that biotics work by tossing out a DBZ-esque ki blast.

One starship.
Versus 50,000 starships and an entire race.
I'll concede that point though.

Yeah, seemed like it. Something about Shepard having an apprecitation for Asari and Kaidan/Ash getting jealous.
The other romances (besides the VS/Liara) really get the shaft though.

It isn't as bad as the Genesis 2 romances. As far as I can tell, you don't even get a full "choice" in those. The comic picks 2 romanceable characters and you choose between those 2, from what I can tell. The firs tYouTube video I saw had Miranda and Jack. The second one had Jack and Tali.

Yeah, that's what I mean actually. The Genesis 2 version. I wonder how Jack becomes available? I've only seen it Miranda and Tali on mine. Hmm. Femshep had Garrus and Jacob. But yeah, it comes off without any attention to detail.

Like, why does Tali appear wearing her ME2-ME3 suit when its supposed to be ME1
Or, when did Tali and Garrus ever dual wield pistols in ME1
Or why was Kaidan referred to as being younger than Shepard when hes actually a few years older.
