Yes, I can understand how frustrating it must be for you when your little 'juvenile power fantasy' isn't fulfilled. That was the term you used, wasn't it?

Expecting the bugs you killed to stay dead isn't a juvenile power fantasy.

Contrived and mindless writing is the better term. I don't make many of the decisions that a lot of you guys make, but nonetheless I think you guys got screwed in your game.

Nor is expecting the Shepard that could express human nationalist viewpoints not having a complete personality retcon in subsequent titles.

Ah I miss ME1, the one game where you can give dudebro vakarian the finger and not recruit him, where you can roll as a femshep who convinced Kaidan that aliens need humans to save them from  themselves and where you can deliberately kill the council to place humans on top. Note quite on the level of Witcher or New Vegas but nice nonetheless.

I'll ignore the childishly simple fact that the result of the Rachni choice almost certainly has little to do with writing and everything to do with the considerations of making an entirely new level for another mission and cutting out an enemy.

Nice of you to admit Bioware cut corners.

The whole coup mission is ME3derp in its purest form.

It's on similar derp levels as the opening and ending of the game or the geth consensus, although it rises above those other missions by having actually decent gameplay.

Still doesn't mean it is any good though.

It's not rose-colored glasses. Just helplessness and delusions manifested as foolishness and clumsy attempts to feign power. Par for the course on the BSN.

You outright just admitted Bioware cuts corners and you approve of that nonsense.

It is though. I got this ant problem in my backyard and I'm trying to get rid of them for days now, but the mother****ers keep coming back! :pinched:

That's b/c you chose to spare the ant queen and what ended up happening was that your choice blew up in your face.

Or perhaps I understand and accept the, again, childishly simple fact that time and money are limited resources. That there's no magic hole to pull money and time out of, as you seem to have convinced yourself of.

By all means explain how "ah yes reapers" and ME2's ending and Arrival invalidating ME1's entire plot has to do with "rose tinted glasses".

Then don't tell your fans one thing after the game went gold when it's false.

And this here is why I have little sympathy when people say "BioWare is getting unwarranted hate." They made their own bed opting to spew one exaggerated or outright BS claim after another, some knowing damn well what was said was blatantly false. It's almost comical how they act shocked by the negative response.

I have over 30,000 War Assets... Still have no difference than some goober who got 3100 in the outcome. All that preparation and extra forces don't mean squat for arbitrary numbers!

Even with unlimited resources, I wouldn't have made the Rachni that significant. Certainly less important than the krogan, quarians, geth and so forth.

Why would you gather that much in an RPG? You're effectively locking yourself out of roleplaying.

It does not matter. Bioware made a promise after the game went gold. After a game goes gold anything the devs say will be taken into consideration.
