Weren't the Grissom academy students, a bunch of teenagers, stronger than the spectres?

Why would you gather that much in an RPG? You're effectively locking yourself out of roleplaying.

You kinda can't turn the MP off, and the MP was (is) fun.

You can choose not to promote. I promoted once for the achievement and then I stopped, because it's pointless and reduces the ability to roleplay. And I have like almost all my UR's maxed.

Some people enjoy leveling up, then starting from scratch. It's built into the game, after all.

I like how David calls people childish for decisions Bioware originally put in. Like it's their fault these choices ever existed. As if they made the game, and only now Bioware is rescuing it from "juvenile power fantasies" among the playerbase.

I thought he was getting less contentious lately, but back to the same old antics, I see.

It's incredibly childish to think that each and every choice you made must lead to vast consequences or else the developer is lazy and incompetent. Yes, I was a bit dissappointed with some of the choices. But even if my highest expectations were met, they would have fallen far short of the ideal.

I didn't think every choice would, I though the choices Bioware said would. They lied. Very simple. This is not a hard concept to understand.

So complain about false advertising. Not about the writers being stupid.

I have over 30,000 War Assets... Still have no difference than some goober who got 3100 in the outcome. All that preparation and extra forces don't mean squat for arbitrary numbers!

Because I don't RP the way you do? Because I have my Shepard and I make the story I want to make to the best of my ability? I don't make different Shepards here like others. I have my one Shepard with his story, and that's it for me. That's the only Shepard I'm interested in playing.

It was stupid because the writers said it would do exactly that.

It was stupid because other, and better RPG's tend to do that.

They could have not made an ending at all and that would have for fans talking just as much. To be honest. I'm over it all. It was a crap ending to a great series and I just feel very "meh" about it all now.

To interject here, you people really need to stop ****ing at each other. It's getting really tiring to see a pro-ender spouting something, and then 12 anti-enders all come in a nude-nudge wink-wink oh look at him we're so superior drivel for the next 15 pages.

I assume people don't do this with me because I don't bite, and I stay out of interjecting when I see it happen because it's mind numbingly boring and no one is making a point ("Oh man he called me childish he's no better" repeat for 5 pages), but seriously, if someone slags you off, ignore it. It's simple playground psychology, people want you to get wound up by insults because they have no argument. If you ignore their insults, or their condescending attitude, you'll expose their argument and conversations will actually be constructive.

Everyone will ignore this, because peer pressure nonsense for the next 22 pages or until a mod comes in and locks this will take precedence, it's just incredibly tedious to read.

Well, that's b/c there are two choices, Paragon adn Renegade, win or lose. For example, the CB decision you can choose to save the CB or destroy it. If you chose to destroy it that's fine, but if you chose to save, then this is what should've happened:

Image IPB

The reason for this was b/c your choice was not heroic.

You bite pretty hard my friend :P, However you assume to much.

why do we fight david over you? David is more confrontational, he throws out words like deluded, childish, stupid, moronic, and others. People (me included) enjoy defending their honor.

Also your significantly less interesting to debate against (totally working from memory atm), you tend to stick with the whole "its their game", entitlement, or as seen in the previous post "ignore" it. People have talked about these issues to death but they avoid the core understandings of each person viewpoint. Hence its a shift in ideology with a bridge that cannot be mended.

Pfft. That's just stupid. Haven't you been paying any attention to the goings-on at the BSN? The mods will likely delete the thread, since that's what they've been mostly doing of late.

I only use such words in response to unjustified insults and accusations. Which are unfortunately aplenty on the BSN. And I never just call something stupid and just leave it at that, unless it's just utterly completely obvious. I always explain myself.
