There aren't serious suggestions. But they should be.

My idea? The antagonist is an Asari mercenary who creates an army of drell clones. They all have extreme smoker voices, do backflips, and die to water vapor.

And the galaxy quakes in their might. The end.

Quarians take over the galaxy, eliminate the resistance. I'd love it, but I don't think that you'd agree.

The volus are biotic gods and everyone worship them. You'll play as young volus who's trying to find it's place in the world of gods but the problem is, Volus doesn't want to be biotic god, he wants to be a dancer.

You play as a Hanar preaching the words of the Enkindlers. You must avoid C-Sec to spread the word to the unenlightened and at the end you can chose a red, green or blue hat to wear.

2000 years after the crucible event, The Galaxy faces it's biggest challenge yet, the largest war it has ever seen, the war against the holiday honoring the birth day of our Savior. That's right everybody, I'm talking about the War on Shepmas.

The Leviathans rise to power and take over the galaxy. And there's nothing you can do about it. Everyone gets the same ending and it's bad---not even any color variations. The best part is it's the first game of a new triology, but wait! It's not actually a trilogy! What a twist! The final moments are you, staring angrily at a screen that displays "The End". Your options after you complete the game are A) throw your controller/mouse through the TV/monitor, B) cry softly in a dark corner or C) give up videogames and take up stamp collecting.

None of ME2 or ME3 is retconned. The events of ME3 and its ending remain canon.

After a short recovery, Shepard now faces a threat on a universal scale, but after some training and squad gathering manages to finish it all off with a spirit bomb.

Ancient evil machines are misunderstood "bad guys" and in order to stop them we must merge organics and synthetics so there will be peace and everyone will live happily ever after. Hooray!!!

Play as the son or daughter of Commander Shepard.

Talk of canonizing, eh?

Harbinger evolves into his Ultimate Dracula 2000 form, growing spikes on his tentacles and enormous bat-wings on his rear hull. He then sets out to drink the blood of asari virgins, and finding none (because they've been busy repopulating Thessia) he instead craves the blood of quarian virgins - if the quarians are all dead you win the game instantly because Harbinger starves to death.

If you made peace, the geth will save the quarians with a ten-million-platform-strong choreographed dance. If the geth are gone (either from Rannoch or Destroy ending) the quarians are devoured by Harbingacula 2000. Tali survives if she's been romanced because she's no longer a virgin.

Shepard and her entire surviving crew then spend the entire final act fighting Huskified quarians around, on the hull, and inside of Harbingacula before Shepard defeats him with the combined fury of a Power Ballad (performed by Shepard and relevant LI, Liara if no LI is available) and Joker's gun that fires Thresher Maws.

Harbinger reverts to his original form - the Catalyst child - and dies peacefully, having learned the meaning of love and to forgive his abusive Leviathan jerk dad for being an abusive Leviathan jerk dad.

During the credits, the Illusive Man, Saren, and the Collector General share drinks in Afterlife. Not the afterlife, just the club.

I think this idea has some potential, but it needs more Volus streakers.

the planet the ship landed on at the end of ME3 was really a pre-historic earth. Shepard and the crew are the aliens responsible for the crystal skulls. A volus followed them and bangs a bunch of cave-women, creating a race of volus-human biotic god hybrids.

Bioware makes Mass Effect 4 and sets it in an alternate timeline. Or before the trilogy.

The green ending (no spoilers here, see above) had some nasty side-effects: It gave all ships and household appliances a consciousness of their own, and they are quite the primadonnas. "What, you guys want me to carry supplies? You do realize I have dreams and aspirations too, right? And don't you dare come aboard in those clothes. That is so last year! Ughh, nobody even tries to understand me!! I'm off, and only consider calling me when you have something worthwhile to offer me!!"
With that, galactic travel shuts down, computers, omni-tools and everything else stop working and everybody has to bang rocks together again. The game then is about gathering a group of stranded galactic citizens and locating good quarries to mine them together. The longer it proceeds, the more mining takes its toll on the world - everything starts to look blocky and rectangular. Then Bioware gets sued by Markus Persson. The end.

Play as a biotic, female krogan outlaw who runs a band of infamous mercenaries and is pregnant throughout the whole game by a salarian. Towards the climax of the game, the baby randomly comes out, and it's a reaper! Because it turns out that's how reapers are created. Oh and the female krogan dies from it.

Playing AS one of the reapers. And then the game ends half way through and you get a note from Bioware saying that due to technical issues the rest of the game will be released as a 4 DLC's,each for 1200 Bioware points, with a trollface at the end of the message.
