lol i was pleasantly suprised to hear yuri lowenthal(sp?) do the dalish male elf violent voice (he does all the collective/thug voices) so that became one of my favs, most the female ones are voiced by the same girl VA, she does marjolane & Anora's hand maid voices as well, hers i like

As for human male dislikes, the one that's voiced by jowan sounds as nazaley annoying as jowan & i laughed at the one voiced by the guy who did murdock from redcliff (wasn't violent oddly nuff) who uses the same exact growling voice for the warden

The most annoyimg vocal aspect i find is with ANY charecter who you activate a mode for as they ALWAYS have to make an obnoxuis comment for no reason

i should have checked this forum before i chose my violent voice for a new human mage. she sounded like a badass in the char gen screen, now everytime she breaks the fourth wall with that ladder comment i want to scream. the 'all right, all right' gets on my nerves too. if anyone finds a solid way to change this, or a mod that shuts her up, i'd love it, because she's driving me crazy. i don't even want to play her and i spent so much time creating her. sigh.

I gave up an a character that I liked because of that voice. I am really hoping a mod appears that allows it to be changed so I can carry on with him.

Yep I chose that one too and I had to restart because of it. I experimented with each of them and went with her because she seemed to have a bit of character. But after a while it really, really grates on you. I could just about put up with it, except for the croaking noise she makes when she gets hurt. It sounds like my cat when it's being sick.

I put up with it to level twelve and I couldn't take it any more and restarted. I hated to have to restart. Now I'm going over the same stuff I did a few days ago and it's spoiled the game somewhat. But it's worth it. My new voice, the Wise voice is much better. Still a bit annoying but she sounds posh which suits the background.

Interestingly, the only female voice that I didn't find annoying was the cocky voice, but that's only available for elves, not humans. I really liked that one. That's the only voice that you can't use for a human. Strange.

Just about to start a new game, thanks to OP for the reminder...the "ladder" and "ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!" from violent set are not something im dealing with for 30+ hours.

Yes, it's rather bad and annoying. I feel cocky & Experienced are better choices.....

Awww, I like the violent voiceset. Though I have that set for my dwarf, so it makes it all the more hilarious when she yells about the ladder. It also fits her personality perfectly, haha.

But here's a random thought: Are the voices in the character creator different from the ones in the actual game? One of the characters I made sounded like it had a completely different voice in the creator than the one in game, though maybe I'm just crazy x.x
