Okay, when I started playing DA:O, I loved those special gory kills. You know the ones where you jump on the ogre or you see the head rolling off. Now it's gotten WAY past old. There's got to be a way to turn this off, but I can't figure it out. Can I turn it off or am I doomed to being annoyed forever?

you are pretty much doomed...just play as an Archer. You get no special kill animations

I just installed the mod @Blazomancer linked to,
and its working well, i still get the movie when i kill high dragons and perhaps 2 ogres but thats ok.
I paste no_deathblows folder under
C:\\Documents and Settings\\UserXP\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

Good. I'll try that. By the time the damn scenes finish, the fight's over. It's annoying.
