And we need a whole new thread for this why exactly?
We have had too many Loghain threads to remember them all.
And there always has to be one person who feels the need to create a whole new thread because their opinion has to have a whole thread of it's own.
At least others take the time and make the effort to sit down and formulate a post that is more than two sentences. They give arguments and elaborate. Not to mention that they make an attempt at correct capitalization.

PC is better general? Based on what you are stating that, you think your 4 men party is army lead by General (you)?

OP needs to do some 'Ferelden History' lessons then come back and apologise for being a troll.

Not only do I find my hero absolutely infuriated with Loghain leaving the king to die but then he does everything he can to trash the grey wardens to anybody and everybody, he betrayed the king and his country then he tries to take over the throne as well. He knows who Alistair is, he knows Alistair will be recognized as the heir to the throne so he tries to kill him off and turn all he represents into trash. Loghain is not a stupid man but his prejudice has colored his actions. So after he has betrayed so many I should put him in a position to do further harm? I might do a playthrough that way sometime, but I'll have to be really bored when I do that.

Nah, its more of an excuse to get rid of Alistair, but beyond that if you've ever saved him and had him in your party you'll find him to be the cross between Sten and Alistair that at least I personally wanted since the beginning. His dialogue after the Landsmeet makes me so happy that poor Al has yet to survive one of my playthroughs. Someday he will, but definitely not any time soon.

Alistair may be a good man, but what Ferelden needs is a strong ruler. Loghain is blinded by the conviction that he can do no wrong, Alistair is blinded by his belief that Loghain must die, irrespective of any consideration of the greater need to have more Wardens on hand to help fight the Blight.

Well, now that we have successfully created a thread for one persons opinion stated simply to start an argument, we can all move on to add a little dash of epic fail elsewhere on the internet. Saved again from poor gaming choices by someone brave enough to state their opinion eloquently in a public forum. Hurrah!
