I do this all the time. If PUGs can't pew pew a few beep boops, they don't deserve to be carried by me while they're still alive. They can die and watch as I alone pew pew the beep boops.

Games usually go faster when the scrubs don't interfere with your pew pews. Its a win/win.

I look at it as charity so testing someone to see if they are worthy of charity is foolish to me. But I can see the reasoning behind testing their worthiness.

I usually do it when I drop in a game with single host.
Just to see what kind of player this is.. if the player dies and bleed out, I leave.

P.S I don`t force them to solo though. I just don`t kill enemy.

I have been doing this on games I join on-going, usually ends up with me spending 10 minutes watching these scrubs trying to finish a wave. I prepare a bowl of chips and a can of dew before I search for a match.

Most of the time it is necessary to bleed out at least once before Wave 6 in order to send a message. Otherwise they will just stop trying.

Reminds me of a recent game on Giant. Last enemy on the map was an atlas near the LZ. 2 pugs were attacking it as 4th guy already bled out. I was using the time to collect grenades. After collecting 4 and going back to the LZ to collect the 5th, i hear the announcer say team mate down (could only be from the atlas). By the time i reach the LZ, i see the atlas still has 7 to 8 bars of armor after 1 full circle around giant. I think that team would have failed fast even if they attempted to camp the giant LZ.

HardcoreSalmon and I usually saves one Banshee or Praetorian on Gold or Platinum for the randoms to kill. Sometimes it can be some entertaining 5-10 minutes watching them kill it. I've even had a guy who couldn't kill the last Banshee on Gold and he finally gave up and left the game.
