Have tried to search on this, but cannot find anything, so it's propably something that nobody cares about anyway, but here goes:

Do you guys/girls know, if there is a "highest possible achievable score" in a full match with extraction, and if there is, what is the max score achievable?

Is it, at all, possible to outrun the wave budget in total on bronce/silver/gold/plat levels. Like if you make 650.000 points in a Platinum match as a team, is that close to max, or are you still far away from having killed everything possible?

Has anybody tried, as a team, to get the most points into the game as possible as a challenge?? Everybody always seems to go for fastest time or topping the scoreboard as a individual.

Somebody told me that it was possible to get a max of 1.000.000 points in a full platinum match with extraction, but it could b rubbish though.

In consideration is of course the objective waves with infinite spawning, yet you are limited by a timeframe on theese as well (if things works as intended that is). You also have to be able to somehow instanuke all spawns on objective waves to test this i guess.

Feel free to share some infinite wisdom on this matter, or don't, if this thread is just plain stupid (lol).

About 1.4M on U/U/P if you get Reapers on Giant, Glacier or White with clever use of missiles, AoE and score bonuses. But you won't get that unless you try really, really hard.

1M is fairly easy for a 4 player team and could even be done with 3.

You actually stop earning points after a while. Theoretically that should mean there's a max cap of points achievable.

Yea, I remember seeing something like this as well.  I think there was even a video too. 

The actual record might have been more along the lines of what d_nought said.

Might have been a video but I forgot the link. The highest one I remember was an xbox run with cainoobson and discrubble at 1M vs Reapers on White. And of course there's shameless self promotion of our 3 man 735k on set/set vs Geth (about 1M U/U vs a non optimal map/enemy)

I think 1.4 is the ceiling or real close to it. I think I recall seeing a 1.3 by a PC team. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Crazy if you can get up to 350 k a head. Just crazy!! Isn't that approx what you usually get in soloing Platinum??

That sounds right. I think console has hit 1.1 million as it's highest so far. Honestly there hasn't been a lot of effort since 1 million was hit I don't believe.

I don't think anyone has tried to follow all the rules needed to get highest possible score. Aside from obvious milking of objective waves, you can further increase your score during other waves by concentrating on special enemies first. For example if you kill husks first until they no longer spawn your total score for that wave will be higher because husks have highest possible score to wave budget ratio. You'll also need to use your powers on all enemies (at least 3 times on a single enemy I think not sure) to get full power bonus.

Unless someone has done all the above you are no where near maximum possible score.
