No but seriously.....NG+ please??

Seriously though, yes to NG+.

DA has yet to have it. I'd like to run through the game again with the same character, with all their skill points available for reallocation, their level carrying over, gear, etc etc

Worked in Mass, would work for me in DA.

And if we can't have NG+, I'd at the very least like the capability to save my character's appearances, so that I can reuse them later if I wish.

LOL I have been trying sooooo hard to convince people it would be a great addition....here is to hoping BW is listening....(unlike CDPR apparently....sigh)

You could sort of force NG+ in both DAO and DA2 by taking advantage of exploits.

I'd like to not have to do that this time around.

"Enemy scenario: Fighting a massive, armored dragon, you can target a leg, send warrior into melee range to bash off armor, rogue can sneak up and poison the exposed limb, dragon stumbles around allowing others to unleash spells etc"

Oh my. Sounds delectable :)

I laughed a lot harder than I should have when I saw your post.

I did that in DAO with the ostagar glitch....but once I heard DA 2 did not have NG+ I did not purchase it so I had no idea

In DA2 you had to do one of those fetch quests where you find something and bring it back to someone.

When you got back to them with the item, you'd spam X or A depending(on consoles) and for every press of the button you were getting the XP for completing the quest. You could jump all the way to max level really quickly in the First Act this way.

I don't feel like new game plus fits all that well with DA's structure, but I suppose there could be a place for it. OR what about an optional difficulty mode where you begin at level 10 or something like that?

how EXACTLY does it not fit being 1: optional and 2: the world is open from the get go (meaning you can go anywhere regardless of being level 1 or maxed out)

Also, no thanks, starting at level 10 on a super insane hard difficulty is not ng+ and would hold ZERO interest for me

I dunno. I don't really have a problem with it being in. It's not something I would use, but whatever. And the level 10 idea was just a random thought.

There are a lot of great ideas in the approach for DA:I. I hope the majority will be implemented. :)

It is easy to get excited about all that, but when DA2 was in development we have seen various BW posts, articles and podcasts where a lot was promised and not much of that came to fruition. It's not that I want to be negative, but these events have made me cautious.

a couple of things

1: at least you are not opposed to it like some people are "just because"....I thank you for that.

2: some people, me included, HATE having to work a second time to re achieve what they already worked for and would like to enjoy their final  build for more than 10 minutes at the end of the game. I indeed loath having to re level up on a second run SO MUCH that that is the SOLE reason I did not buy DA2.

3: Gaidet was gracious enough to tell me that DA2 had no NG+ but that they were trying to implement it but there was no time....so....chances are that with this time extension it could be added

Sounds amazing. I was worried in which direction you'd take the franchise after DAII... but now I see you're going straight into my heart. :)

Very interested to see how you revamped the dialogue.

So now we HAVE to fight the Chantry and we get a very pro-mage companion to start and no one to give the pro Templar view?

This game is fail and I will not waste my money on it, I hope you pro-mage fans are happy your whining has worked congrats.

Biowear have some gore-an faith your story don't some internet extremist fans push you around. Do you own thing.

No you don't have to fight the chantry, the inquisition is an independat body in which you don't have to cowtow to the chantry.  If you read the description the companion is PRO MAGE CIRCLE.  I'm sure all of the pro mage freedom people will absolutely hate her.

Ok bioware! You given us our races back.

So can we please, please, please have a character creater before the game comes out?   I know almost have fan wants one( and have asked before) and it will take me weeks to perfect my character.  And will satisfy the need of having to wait for this amazing game!

PS:    Please add more to it( long, long hair....blue, pink, or mult- colored hair..........VARIETY!

My, some unexpected news here. Definitely good news, though. ;) I'm very glad to hear that races are back in after all. This might make a purchase much more likely now. Bioware has reclaimed my interest. It sounds like a very ambitious project, so it's still a wait-and-see. But it has just gotten a lot more promising.

That part about enjoying your final build is why I enjoyed DA2's Legacy DLC so much. I got to play a big chunk of game with my character. So I can see your point. still not that into NG+, but I can see your point.

Dunno. The GI issue should be available digitally.
