Well they certainly gave DA:I some time.

Doesn't make up for everything, but its a good thing all the same.

I appreciate it.

I hope we have a stable alongside our Keep, and we can see/tend to our horses.  And YES, I purchased and played 'Barbie Horse Adventures' as an adult woman.  I HAVE NO REGRETS.
I just hope the landscape they have us traversing is conducive to actually...ya know, riding the horse.  I found that in Assassin's Creed 3 the terrain was so littered with trees, cliffs & other interest points that I would abandon the horse altogether to free run and explore.

As for the explanation of the shared voice actors and surname amongst the different race PC's, a simple solution would be to have the character be an orphaned or abandoned human/city elf/surface dwarf.  They're raised by [insert organization or individual here] and thus share the same accent and surname, perhaps one that is given to designate the circumstances in which they were found, or the location.  Oh, I don't know...something like "Snow", maybe?  Posted Image

The length is perfect. Add some waves and a little hair in the face......maybe a light pink color( or purple) and that exactly what I want!:wizard:

Can you imagine how emotional it would be if your horse was riddled with arrows while carrying you to safety before dying?

So people would feel bad if their horse died, huh?

Interesting.

Shadow of the Colossus did it first. Sort of.

" the return of multiple player races"

Am I reading this wrong or should I start rejoicing in the streets?

OMG yes - it was one of the most awful, but compelling, aspects of adventuring through the Elder Scrolls series (for me, at least). The dreadful responsibility of having to look out for your animal companions adds a poignant element of immersion, particularly in those moments when you're sort of cruising along, feeling a bit "meh" about whatever quest you happen to be pursuing. Hell - killing the only unicorn in Cyrodiil changed the whole direction of my character's development throughout Oblivion.  :bandit: She used to be such a sweet girl, but that all changed one stormy afternoon...

The picture in my head of what the front of this body looked like was instantly struck by the recollection of your gender.

Suffice to say, you make a pretty hot chick.

1. That's what they say, but I recon at best the Chantry/Templars will be Logain 2.0 and at worst Cerberus (you kill %90 of them but get a few defectors, espically given their really unfair treatment in the new book.

I admit that, right now, that is my biggest concern and if the Chantry and/or Templars become like ME3's Cerberus, I will be the first to point it our and won't make excuses to defend Bioware but it seems to me, we're not at that point yet.

2. Have you read Assunder? Did you play DA2? The Templars were compared to Naz'is really blunty at that (tranquil solution really:sick:) and the way that people view the Mages, the poor oppressed people rather then people who can destory a town on a weekend if they wanted. And I think the devs just stopped careing/trying, 'why try to make it gray, no one likes the Templars,  let's just have them as the bad guys.

Yes and yes but I don't think Bioware itself has picked sides.
Only Alrik was compared to the N@azis and the game made a point of showing how he was an isolated extremist. Meanwhile, we can find many more reasonable Templars in DA2, at least three mages who think the Circle is not that bad and even Meredith was, clearly, written as a grey character. The Red Lyrium ruined her but it was obvious she had good reasons for the things she did.
In "Asunder", the book is written from the perspective of, mostly, mages but we do see instances where the characters reflect on how every templar has good reasons to join the Order, how Lambert was right and, in the end, who really killed Pharamond to start the war? A Libertarian. The book even ends with Rhys' reflecting if these fate of the mages and templars is to kill each other in the name of rigtheousness; thus, implying both sides are on equal moral ground.
I think we can say that, despite the majority of fans being Pro-Mage, the writing team itself has not been doing Pro-Templars a disservice. As of yet, anyway.

3. You mean like in DA:O or DA:O:A? Alister was a really bad example if that's what they were trying with him. Only DA:2 had a pro Templar/anti-mage charater in Fenris, one out of three is not good odds. I assume a dev will say that Cas is their to be the 'Pro-Chantry' voice, but she is little better then the mages in this since she stayed with the Tratior Devine rather then carry on the fight.

Well, in DAO we had Wynne who was very Pro-Circle and even had a son with a templar despite being a mage vs Morrigan who was Anti-Circle. In DAO:A we didn't have a Pro-Templar companion; probrably because it just wasn't important there; but you could always disagree with Anders.
In DA2, we had Merril and Anders vs Fenris, Sebastian and Aveline (more or less).

I have no idea what companions Bioware will give us; beyond what was suggested in the survey leak; and even what beliefs they might support; Vivianne, for instance, is said to be Pro-Circle so, she might actually be against the rebellion and be very agreeable for a Pro-Templar player, who knows; but the article did mention that, if you, the player, believes that mages are ticking bombs, you won' get alone with Vivianne which means we, at least, won't be forced to espouse Pro-Mage beliefs.
