They said they're pushing all the platforms to their limits. That *could* mean different platforms have different features.shinobi602 wrote...
It's a little unfortunate though that the team's restricted by current gen consoles. This means they have to keep these ancient systems in mind when designing the world and the interactivity in the world. Part of the big reason CD Projekt RED is focused 100% on PS4/Xbox One/PC only.
Ah well.

Dude, I haven't even gotten my issue yet (will be excitedly checking my mailbox after work today)... but just reading the confirmations in this thread has already made me beyond excited for next year!!!
Is it STILL too early to preorder at GameStop? I keep asking, and they keep saying "too early". LOL
I'm not sure when the preorder's will be up, but it makes me happy you're excited

They added a non-trivial amount of development time. I guess that paid off.Plaintiff wrote...
I'm surprised and impressed. From what they'd said earlier, I was under the impression that including multiple race choices was a non-trivial amount of work.

It is a non-trivial amount of work, haha.

Bioware lied to us like Rockstar did with regards to certain features that were(n't) supposed to be in game.
I ain't even mad.
Player races is a direct result of our time extension. If we were still releasing this year or early next year, they wouldn't be in.
Will the PC be voiced?

That's just the hot key layout when using a controller. All the devs were using one in the video. I would assume that on PC for kb and mouse we will see the normal super long quick bar again.

Interesting. I'm in favour of this type of thing but a lot of testing has to go into it to make sure the player does not get into a utter fail situation they can't dig themselves out of at some point in time. (See the use of the spirit meter in Mask of the Betrayer.)

I always figured the reason why my Warden in DA:O didn't have horses was perfectly explainable: she was saving her sovereigns to equip the armies. ^-^ Anyway, it'll be fun to have them in Inquisition. I didn't mind the ones in Oblivion, and mounts in WoW and Rift seem to be just fine, so I'm not surprised that BioWare decided to take them on.
I, also, would have been fine with humans only, but I'm really happy that those who love their dwarves and elves will be able to play them.

It's the least you could do.
All joking aside, I am officially ok with waiting until next year to be able to play this. Let's just keep it as "Fall" and not push towards "Winter" though shall we?

In my opinion the extra development time is totally worth it, then. Extra time is always worth it, IMO

ME3 didn't learn from Dragon Age 2. As Dragon Age 2 didn't learn from ME1. It's like the two franchises exist in bubbles.Ieldra2 wrote...
Of course they wouldn't say anything until they were absolutely sure these features will make it into the game. Just imagine the reaction here if they were first revealed as features and then cut. It would odd if they hadn't learned from the ME3 debacle.TheBreadedOne wrote...

I'm going to take them at their word for now. But we can't just ignore the possibility of them repeating an "ending tailored by your choices" and "Rachni play a big part in the final battle."
