I wasn't really that put out at being forced into playing human in DA 2 - a big part of which, I can safely attribute to sarcastic femHawke <3. She was too awesome. But, being able to play as my favorite race (elves) again is always good news. It also helps that the re-deisgns look awesome. I also didn't mind DA 2's combat or its pace so, the change in pacing isn't really a big thing for me (but, please let my rogue crit for 15k dmg:D. I kid, I kid) .

Overall, its an awesome info-dump. Good going Bioware.

On one note, the confirmation that Cassandra will be a party member (and it seems to hint at Cullen, perhaps) does have my interest perked up a bit. I'll give the article that. I can trust BioWare to create companions that, almost universally for me, are interesting and often compelling.

Everything else is either not of terrible importance to me, personally, or I am highly skeptical of.

This was really awesome.  I assumed it was a male Inquisitor too.  And pet dragons!?  Or at least the Inquisitor being incredibly badass.

Yes, with the exception of Varric, all others characters on the image were also on that survey. Including Cassandra and Cullen
