Well, if it's like Skyrim, your companions will run behind you on foot. It'll look like a Benny Hill skit.Sylvianus wrote...
So if we are going to ride a horse to explore the world ? Will it be the same for our companions for example behind us upon their own horses or will they suddenly disappear, leaving the PC alone ?

The confirmation that the Inquisitor was present at the veil rip and was the only survivor, as well as the implication that they might have something to do with it is VERY interesting...
Yes i found this very interesting, i think there is mystery hidden in DAI and i love mysteries.

LOL. And you're right. I've totally forgotten Skyrim. Actually, I never really brought any companion with me while I was riding my horse. I tried once but... the follower is too slow ! Either it was, " let's walk " or " sorry baby I'm alone this time with my horse " or just teleportation together if too lazy to travel ! XDYrkoon wrote...

Is it just me? or is that 'fist under the chin' guy checking out the inquisitor? He's all like "DAT ASS!".Legenlorn wrote...

Inquisition markers on map
marker nº1- located north of Val Royeaux and west of Val Chevin.
marker nº2- according to it's perpective... i figure it's located near the mage's circle tower in lake Calenhad
extrapolation: Mayhaps these are Successfully occupied Inquisition Strongholds/information leads and the knife points the next point to be taken/investigated which is located east of Kirkwall along the coast of the Vimmark Mountains directly north of Highever..
Was just about to write something similar. My gues would be successfully occupied bases for the inquisition. Like what was said in the game informer magazine.

Wonder what the Wardens are supposedly up to...

This is why I can't be too miffed about what happened with DA2. Ok sure it wasn't perfect but what it didn't do (thank goodness) was dive into any of the bigger plots outside hawke's personal story. It only gave a slight nod to them and was like "nope, not this game but don't worry we'll tell you later". Like the wardens being up to something. Now they can go all out and give these sub plots the content they need.

So... put me with this new crowd of "now cautiously optimistic" peeps.
That's where I am as well. It's actually pretty nice being any kind of optimistic about Dragon Age again!

it's driving me crazy wondering what all the wardens have been up to for a decade

I also just noticed his ears... I think he may be an elf.

I dont know why but the news about Inquisition made me want to listen to Sentinels of Brokilon from The Witcher.

Return to somewhat slower and notably more tactical combat sounds great, although I'm still wondering whether the insanely-high-number problem of Dragon Age II has been fixed. Even if it hasn't, it still sounds like combat will be a good deal better, so that's cool.
I'm also glad to see that the controls and all on PC are going to be different again. That was a bit frustrating sometimes about DA II
Monsters not levelling up with you is great. I love stumbling into areas that are way above the character's head currently and having to come back.
I'm not sure how I feel about the armour-changing thing, and probably won't be until I actually see it in action, but it's definitely better than not being able to equip armour on the NPCs at all!
I'm very happy about the race selection -- possibly even happier about it than about some of the other things, particularly as the elves seem to be back to looking more reasonable. I really like playing elves and dwarves more than humans.
The simple existence of the dialogue wheel (or more the voice, really) will I think never be something I'm happy or even not deeply unhappy about, until voice generation is at the same point that face generation is at now, but if the selections are more accurate that's at least something.

One game has an "Arrow in the knee", another has a "Dagger on a map". These things happen when there's authentic fan interest.

It's a new demon type - MAP DEMONS.
Only killable by overly dramatic dagger stabbing, most effectively if sandwiched between a table.

I don't know, but the cartographer must have their work cut out for them since the maps would need to be replaced.
