Doubt he or Leliana will be party members.
Suspect Leliana will be ruuning her own military unit aligned with the chantry.
So the Inquisitor will likely have the choice of allying with them, persuading them to join, subduing them or killing them.
Those unhappy with the socalled retconning of Leliana will have a chance to kill her for good.

Why can no one else saves Sten and get him out of his prison?

One important videogame rule is never assume a character who you didn´t see dying may be death.
We have never see Sten´s death in the actually game.

They will retcon everything.

You will even see Duncan again.

Alistair's death imported into DA2 so its doubtful it won't import to DA3.
If you left Sten in the cage, you don't know what happened. Someone else could have let him out. The priestess might have unlocked the cage right beofre the darkspawn cage because she wanted him to fight or something. You never saw him die.

There not even a small hint that Cole will be a companion. Its just a wish by fans. So I wouldn't place Cole as possible anymore than I'd put a Qunari as possible. 

And yes, the article confirms Vivienne as a new companion.

Both Cole and the qunari Iron Bull were mentioned as companions in the leaked marketing survey from November last year. 

(Along with a Grey Warden, a Tevinter magister called Dorian, a city elf called Sera and the dark-skinned woman holding the brush that we've seen in other art.)

Edit: oh, and Cullen was in the companion concept art section.

Leliana isn't leader of the seekers (loyal do divine) i bet that cassandra is one (she have different armor than others)
, leliana is divine spy and do dirty work for her leliana never was leader and never had
traits to be one ,making her leader would be stupid as hell.

No, Cole is not dead... i mean at the end of Asunder he probably killed Lambert but can't confirm it too.

I still wish for some news that we can have companions from last book, I know its just my dream but I still would love to have Evangeline.

Technically the real Cole died long before Asunder, the spirit that thinks its Cole is "alive", for lack of a better word

Not a fan of Iron Bull or Cullen but if they're there they're there.:innocent:

Not sure Allistair will be there.Some posters say he has disappeared from Ferelden.
Whether it's time for his Calling remains to be seen.

In one of the Game Informer Videos we do catch a very brief glimpse of a couple more companions...

1. Sera (walking on the bonfire with a bow)




2. Warden? (bottom right corner)

yes Sera an elf is suposedly a companion.
Rumors are:
Another is supposedly a Grey Warden.
Other possibilities are a Tevinter magister, Dorian I think his name is.
Possibly Cole, some sort of spirit killer type.

He could be a late recruit not everyone is brought in at the wardens age

And yeah, the Warden's definitely on the grey side. So maybe we will get to see a Warden's Last Walk in this one...
