Casey said about a week and a half ago in an interview that when asked about the Hammerhead he replied "We are really excited about that and will be talking about it in a few weeks."
And it had it own hangar in the friggin Normandy! Labeled Hammerhead! They would cut a vehicle and completely remove an entire section from the game thats just foolish. There is a Hammerhead. It's most likely one of the things the devs arent supposed to talk about unless they get the go ahead from PR. Sometimes they have to withhold things for certain reasons higher up.
so....were they all lies...who is lying?

They never said there was NO pilotable vehicle, they merely said that the Kodiak exists. It has been said many times before that things are held back for different reasons.(Marketing, Stock Rates, Not as good a reveal as they'd like) The fact that you know of it from playtime at all should be proof enough that it exists, if you don't consider it enough then leave. You will find out more about it this week.
Many DEVELOPERS have said many times that they worked on the controls of the vehicle due o complaints about the Mako in the first game.
Developers>Reviewers who have to follow their NDA's
Until then ponder this, Doesn't this look a alot like the Mako???
Dan is right, all reviews avoided mentioning the Hammerhead because it has its own reveal early next week, and the reviewers can't talk about certain things while they're under NDA.
Bottomline, a modified vehicle exists, the developers' talked a thousand times about how they got complains about the way the handling of the Mako was set and they mentioned working on that issue on the new pilotable vehicle
And again we should know all about this issue later this week or early the next, but all evidence support the existence of the Hammerhead not the other way around..

Why so defensive? Did you miss the part where I said it could be DLC? If it is DLC then the devs haven't lied, I'm not calling them liars, and the reviewers are also correct.KingDan97 wrote...
Again, Devs>Reviewers who have to follow NDA's/have limited time to play the game. They said they'll go into vehicleS this week, if you won't trust the devs then you're beyond help Mystranna. We've got several developer sources going into this.
The devs also said there would be interrupts and Mako customization in Mass Effect 1. That didn't pan out.
Just calm down and wait for the details.

I still do hope that we'll have some kind of vehicle though, hell, if there's no better option, I wouldn't even mind to have the mako back.

Well, when they showed the vehicle to us, the game was in-development. So it could have been cut. There were no lies about the final game, only plans. When a project -let it be a movie, music album, videogame- everything you hear or see is possibly a subject of change.
I still do hope that we'll have some kind of vehicle though, hell, if there's no better option, I wouldn't even mind to have the mako back.
well yes but they were talking about it 2 months ago ....you think it got cut less than 2 months before release? unlikelty

Why do you think every time replayability is mentioned in a review that it's something like "well there's lots of classes, and collectibles so it probably has some solid replay value" rather than actually talking about what it's like to replay the game with a pimped out char, how the dfifferent choices play out, etc? It's cause they don't. Everything except the main storyline gets glanced over, and that's probably exactly what happened here. Reviewers probably did a whopping one N7 mission(or worse probably based any impressions off of the previews before the game went gold) and didnt see the mako in action so they said it's not in the game.

Reviewers are anti-completionists. They have only a few days from getting a review copy to having to publish the article. I've never seen a review on a high profile game before release that actually goes into depth about stuff beyond the core game.

I've said this and I'll bump this ^^^
Let me know if the reviewers even got to the Aquarium and took the time to fill it with any collectable species.

I'm not talking about what the devs are saying, I'm talking about the reviewers and how they don't have a lot of time to play the games they review (especially when they are massive block busters). They have deadlines for the reviews, they have to write a multiple page review, they probably have other games to review as well, so they don't have the time to play 40 hours of the game.

What about you skepticism?
I mean you really believe what you wrote in your OP. then why write it at all if you don't want evidence to convince you otherwise, and the problem is that evidence were provided and you still rant about it being wrong.

A review is "evidence"...faulty as it may be because as some pointed out the "embargo" may be in vigor and/or all developers missed the Hammerhead (both unlilely but possible)
a developer saying "we cannot reveal anything right now....but we will let you know...it's awesome" is definitely no evidence, which is what we got so far aside for an interview with with Doc Muzyka where he says something about reworking the Mako's controls several months ago
