Two reviews both saying "no vehicles" is a very good reason to assume that there are no vehicles. You can maintain hope if you want, but don't mistakenly think that your wishes have any affect on reality.

I don't wish, I state facts, if you have two sources, one which it not official who denies something and the official source who says " We'll see".

Now an official source refuses to deny or confirm is more dependable in that case.

I was being dead serious, and no, you're not being logical. You're being illogical.

Logic: the devs haven't confirmed or denied, but two different reviews have denied the existence of vehicles in ME2, Therefore, I will assume that there is no vehicle gameplay in ME2, and/or that vehicles will be DLC'd.

I'm not bothering with you both, because like on the old forums you're just here to spread pessimism, cynicism and negativity. All contrary to what Bioware devs have said. This is not the same case as in ME1 because in ME1 most of those were labeled as goals, not thoroughly tested items in the game. If a Bioware dev has talked about it in the last 3 months of development, IT'S THERE. If you don't want to deal with that then by all means, cry wolf falling from the sky, I really don't care.

I honestly hated driving in the Mako and am glad to hear about a simple drop ship. But I also will not believe either one for fact until a dev says something on it or I have played it because I have read false statements in numerouse reviews on many different games. And the thing about the ME1 interupt system is irrelevent seeing has how this was quite a while before the release of the game and only showed in two videos out of many, not to mention it didnt look very well done in the first place.

And to those of you using the HH area in the Normandy argument, was this shown in the Normandy tour during the 12 minutes gameplay from gamespot? Because I dont remember seeing that.

I'm currently speculating that not only was the name changed to the Kodiac, but you will at some point get to control the Kodiac in a mission ala Feros skyway or something. Just to cover the devs description of you controlling the 'new mako', and my slight disbelief that a smallish ship like the Normandy would bother with two vehicles.

Well, it sounds like they've removed exploration-based vehicle use. That doesn't mean the Hammerhead isn't in the game, just that you don't use it for exploration.

The Kodiak Dropship, and the Hammerhead are TWO SEPARATE Vehicles. One is auto pilot, and the other we drive.

The devs also commented that we'd hear more about the Hammerhead "this week" - or at least would hear more about the vehicles in particular. So we should know by this week what's the deal.

Just wanna throw it out there that Javier is male, as far as his youtube avatar and name (javier) suggest.
Also, he isn't privy to any knowledge that isn't available to the rest of us. He just scours the web (read: googles) for new info that's been released. So, i wouldn't take that as a confirmation, per se.

However, he was only using the information that devs had provided. The Kodiak dropship and Hammerhead are separate entities, according to the devs (at least at that time). That was pretty recently, too, so i'd bet it hasn't changed.

I was wondering this as well. Though I'd rather have the kodiak drop me off than driving the mako around another empty world, I was really hoping for a new vehicle we could drive around and do some exploring with. Assuming we'd actually get to explore something other than an empty world.
