Just some bit of news again

 

Kaedrin Upgrade Has Begun!

With the help of Kaedrin, we will be updating our server to add his new classes / spells / feats. Some additional changes to classes will be done at the same time.

 

Chapter 12 of the CEXP has been released

We’ve now released the 12th Chapter of the refactor to our high magic campaign for the Cormyrean Expanse.

 

Flat 5% Bonus to Spell DCs

For each Epic Relevel, you now gain an extra +5% to your spell DC’s. All spells!

 

Trap Proficiency Scales with Epic Relevels, And More

Now you can really crank out some damage with traps with the 5% bonus per Epic Relevel for your Trap Proficiency Score. Base damage has been increased as well.

 

Spirit Shaman Changes

Spirit Shamans now qualify for Epic Enlightenment  and Spirit Form now has a much longer duration along with using Wisdom instead of Charisma.

 

Companions Galore?

Companions now gain the haste effect if the owner has at least 5 levels of either Druid or 7 Ranger. We also changed Nature’s Avatar to work with all companions.

 

Visual Effect Tweaks

Some changes were made to tone down the effects in some areas to smooth out some areas that were graphically intensive. Some of you may experience less lag.

 

New Shard Feats

We added some new Shard Feats for characters that are of level 34 and up. Some are upgrades to existing abilities, others are new abilities altogether.

I have recently returned to NWN2, and I can say that Realms of Trinity is as great as ever. In a time when some servers are dying off, RoT is still going strong with many active players. It is a great server for any play style. There is a ton of content, including quite a bit of truly epic (and still challenging) content. It is a great place to play for power gamers and role-players alike. There is even a system to substantially reward good roleplaying.

All in all, I think RoT is the best NWN2 has to offer! Look for me in game, everyone is very helpful (and sometimes generous) with new players.

I can't connect to realms of trinity... I don't know the password and when I click OK anyway I get error message!

There isn't a password for the live server. Direct Connect to server.realmsoftrinity.com ( no port number, no password )

Try direct connection using the default port number and make sure that you aren't using the DM Client, server.realmsoftrinity.com:5121

RoT is my new home for NWN2. The story is intriguing, the scenery excellent, the scripting fantastic. With the bonus of the Kaedrin pack and some custom content, it's a great place to set up camp!

Well worth a visit (or even a re-visit an in my case), hours of content and custom campaigns to explore. Server staff and players are a friendly bunch and I can honestly say it's the best PW i have played for NWN2.

I gotta second Zoidius on that.  RoT isn't built to my personal gaming taste (I'm one of those "10th IS an epic level" dorks), but I have to say that the players and staff there are among the friendliest and most helpful I've ever seen in nwn2-land.  HUGELY recommended.

I have been playing Realms of Trinity off and on for about 6 years.  IRL always gets in the way but i find myself coming back to RoT everytime.  The amount of detail that is put into every aspect of this game will keep you engaged and exited.  If you are new to PW's or just looking for some truley kind and interesting people to play with come check out Realms of Trinity.

Been playing NwN & NwN2 about a dozen years or more, and have never seen a server quite like Realms of Trinity. I've been a part of many great communities over the years, through both games, and one this really stands out. The staff(Admins and DM's) are constantly involved in both the module and forums. The players are helpful, and the content of the server goes on and on. 

 

Even if you've tried NwN2 in the past and have moved on... the content, adventure, and game play of Realms of Trinity make it worth re-installing.

This server is amazing, I was a noob, they had a youtube video out that helped me get through the first discovery of the game, people are friendly and helpful, world is WELL done with a MASSIVE amount of effort from the GMs there to add more custom content.  These guys have went well above the call of duty

Having played NWN2 religiously for several years before finally getting bored of it an uninstalling it, I am incredibly enthusiastic about the experience offered by ROT.  I'm currently trying to sucke- er, I mean convince all my co-workers to pick up NWN2 purely to get them into ROT.

I've been playing now for just about a month and RoT has brought a classic game back to life for me, so much fun and challenge!

Just started playing on this PW a few days ago & already I feel right at home.  Even after a number of years, the community is still thriving with active Dungeon Masters that hand-craft unique sessions that players can immediately participate in.  The world is vast & lovingly detailed.  There's a plethora of authentic D&D feats and skills, not included in the base game, that have been added & are routinely balanced. The max cap is 40, with the option to 'epic re-level' which adds additional boons to your character & there's a scaling feature which ensures that battles are always skillfully challenging yet fun & immersive.  There's way too many features to list them all, but if you've got an itch for adventure & love the Forgotten Realms campaign setting I would highly recommend checking this out!

I started playing Realsm of Trinity a few weeks ago, og it looks HUGE! 370 areas and still being added more. I have currently not regreted starting here.

I've been playing now for about a month and I really can't recommend Realms of Trinity enough!!

- massive amounts of extra content: new classes (and lots of), new feats, new spells, new monsters and new items (loads - inc. many sets)

- a stunningly EPIC campaign that dwarfs the originals

- an awesome forging system allowing you to create truly Legendary items in every sense of the word whilst still retaining the want and need to find gear with abilities you can't forge

- a great role-playing (RP) system that rewards participation without being mandatory in any way

- fantastic DM's who spice things up and/or run their own events; be that role-playing or monster mashing (ever wanted to take your epic level character into the Abyss and see how hard they really are? Well here the occasional DM will take a party to do just that - WARNING! Demons may be hazardous to your health)

- a friendly, helpful and utterly brilliant community

 

I'd happily pay the full price of a modern release for this game, it's that good.

To help put it in perspective: I've been eagerly awaiting the release of Warhammer Total War for well over a year now like I don't know what!!...and the day it came out...

I spent 3 hours on it (great game btw) and went straight back to the Realms.

 

Huge thank you to all those behind Realms of Trinity - really great stuff!
