No, I think it would contribute more to his mystic if he remained unromanceable.
He has mystique?
how about his je ne sais qois ( hope I spelled that correctly )

I mean in DA2 both guys were bordeline obsessive psycho ...Templars this mage that.
Varric looks like a healthy guy , he's funny ,friendly and cool.
The only problem is Bianca .
But he was like single for 7 years in DA2 , he needs some love.
Though if we can't romance him , I won't cry , but it would be nice for him to have a relationship ...even with another npc (as long as he doesn't cheat on Bianca with another weapon)

That's very close minded and discriminatory.

Plaintiff's choice of words might be a bit questionable, but I'm pretty sure it's OK to have preferences when it comes to romantic partners. That is, unless dishonesty became the foundation of good relationships when I was not looking.
Also, if it's wrong for Plaintiff not to be attracted to Varric because he's short, wouldn't that mean it's discriminatory for Varric not to be into humans?

You missed the point dude. Plantiff has in the past called people bigot for not agreeing with him on s/s stuff even when they did not post anything close to bigotry, yet here's Plantiff posting something that can be seen as bigotry depending on who you ask. That's the issue. He's being a very big hypocrite,
"Something that could be seen as bigotry depending on who you ask." This has to be one of the most wishy-washy attempts at starting an argument over a non-issue as I've seen on these boards.
"I'm not offended, and I don't know how anyone else could be offended, but it could potentially be offensive to someone, and that's why I'm taking offence!"
Plaintiff might be a tad abrasive at times., but Jesus Christ, Mr. House, this is lame. If you really want to argue with the guy, couldn't you just wait five minutes for him to post in another thread?
All right, I've thrown in my two cents. I'll go white knight somewhere else.

Sexual attraction (or the lack thereof) is not bigotry or discrimination, and I made that perfectly clear the last time you brought up this ridiculous strawman.
Providing optional content in a game that explicitly excludes homosexuals (or anyone else, for that matter) is bigotry.
To summarise: Refusing to kiss someone is not bigotry. Arbitrarily barring them from content in a product they purchased is bigotry. See the difference?
There's nothing I can do to dumb this down any further. If you don't get it now, then you're either being deliberately obtuse, or you're a genuinely hopeless case.

I'm actually not so sure about this one. I'd love for him to be romanceable, but I do think that it might somehow feel like a violation of his character. As long as I get to have him in my party, I'm happy. I'll bromance the crap out of that handsome dwarf.
Making him dwarf exclusive seems like it might overcome some of that violation of character perception. I doubt Bioware would go this route, however, just because they aren't likely to want to close off content to people who play as other races.

This would be a clever way to drive up the numbers of people who play as dwarves XD

Ugh, I don't what I'm typing here. Varric is already a well-liked character for being a funny guy, so that could be the fan-service angle they're going for instead of being a LI with his inclusion in Inquisition. Y'know, that badass bro with the fancy one-liners.
I personally don't care, but if it makes people happy, that'd be cool. I like happiness!

Das Raciss.
Futhermore, Bioware should take the progessive step forward and allow for a polygamous Varric-Bianca-Inquistor relationship. (Notice how the PC is the bottom **** in the affair)

Where in that exactly did you lose your Garrus analogy? That's precisely what Garrus is and Garrus is also an LI. I don't see why it would have to become mutually exclusive with Varric.

To be fair though, Varric is probably going to be one of the easier characters to 'retcon' in this regard as he's a well known bull****ter within the lore. You can't take everything he says seriously. So if they do make him a multi-race romance option, which would be the smartest way to go if he is available for any kind of romance, they could just go down that route and have him pass his previous statements off as a lark.Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...

I mean, I'll be playing a dwarf regardless, but it would be lovely to be able to have a dwarf LI available for dwarf PCs, something we didn't get in Origins, whereas elves and humans have always been able to romance someone of their own species. (Not that there's anything wrong with interspecies relationships! But it's nice to be able to roleplay characters who do care about that.)
