I don't have the new issue. Will there be separate human races or will it just be human, elf, dwarf and (hopefully) kossith?

What that means or what the backgrounds would have actually looked like is a little academic at this point. From what we have been told, it seems likely that it will be a combination of race and class to give your background now - such as a Human Rogue or Warrior being the Human Noble, but a Human Mage being a Circle Mage in DA:O.

Yes. Is your human from Nevarra or Rivain? Also, would a Dalish Elf have different stats and abilities from a city elf or a slave elf?
