Sooo..
I'm not sure if any new information regarding Save File transfers to the next generation consoles, Xbox One and PS4, were discussed in the new information that was released with the September Issue of Game Informer? I don't know if it slipped my radaer or not. Did any information come out regarding saves?
Ugh, it's killin' me. So here's the deal:
So, I want to buy the new Xbox One. But the only way I could afford it is using some money I saved up and selling my Xbox 360 Slim to my local Gamestop cause I'm broke. But I've hesitated in reserving and pre-ordering my Xbox One because of all the countless hours I've put into my Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 files. I don't want all that work to go to waste if I end up selling my 360 and it ends up we have to hook up the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One or something like that to get save files to go over into Dragon Age:Inquisition.
That being said, I would like something like that to be implemented because I don't want to start up Inquisition and have there be a little questionaire stating if I bought the Witch Hunt DLC for Origins or the Sebastian DLC for DA2 because if Bioware did that than I feel as though I would have just wasted my money..
And that is why I'm having this little struggle over saves.
So, back on topic, did any news come out about the saves?

The only line we've got at present is that BioWare is aware of the issue and it's important to them that our worlds can be carried forward. They've said they're working on a way to ensure this can happen, but no concrete details have emerged yet (we have been told to expect some, "soon", however).
