I just wanted an awesome Star Wars meets Pacific Rim ending that left me breathless. Not the ending we all got... Call me old fashioned, but if you wanna make an action based movie or game.. IT has to have a bad ass epilogue.. Not a RGB color ending with a slide show explaining the aftermath of the war...

Star Wars meets Pacific Rim? So, Ewok Dance Party meets.... what? ( I didn't see any reason to see Pacific Rim)

Edit: unless you're only talking about SW IV: ANH, in which case it's whatever Pacific Rim did meets Triumph of the Will.

I liked Pacific Rim quite a bit, but the ending---and how certain characters survive---is all chest-poundin' gusto and little logic.

Well, both are pretty upbeat and triumphant with a little bittersweet thrown in. They're pretty much the same, in terms of tone, so I don't know how someone can want a combination, unless he's talking about the ridiculous visual spectacle that Pacific Rim was.

I don't feel this way.

But I don't hold petty grudges or allow a flawed ending blown out of proportion in a series full of flawed writing to ruin an experience, and I gauge games on a per-work basis.

Neither do I.

Oh, wait, you think spinning what I say in an overly  negative light will somehow shame me into going away, don't you?

I would happily have Shepard join a volus conga line if it meant avoiding the endings we got.

Oh, you don't need my help for that, old sport, and I certainly don't assume that you're going away.

Fallout 3 was way, way better than New Vegas. And a lot better than the 15 minutes I've played of Fallout since I keep getting killed by scorpions because I'm level one.

If this isn't trolling, you've just invalidated everything you've ever said about anything. Praising the clusterf*ck that is Fallout 3 over New Vegas is retarded in and of itself, but praising it over a classic game that pretty much single-handedly invented a genre? Your cluelessness would annoy me if there wasn't a bright side: I can now comfortably ignore your every word, secure in the knowledge that you really, truly don't know what the f*ck you're talking about. Thanks for clearing that up.

Where have you been? This is David, in case you two haven't meet already.
