A lot of you don't use mics for different reasons. And in game when playing with a team there comes a time when you sit and talk to yourself about something that you should or otherwise would communicate to your team.

Here are some examples:

"Dude, Phantom behind you!" 

"I will rocket this spawn so don't make me waste it!" 

"Nice game guys!" 

"You're a f*cking idiot!"

"What the hell are you doing?!"

"Why you using rockets on 1 Atlas on extraction?"

"Get inside the God damn circle and help with the objective!"

"Your Turian is cute"

"Hey, is that a Phaeston in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"


So, what do you sometimes feel like telling your teammates but can't because you don't use your mic?

I'm on Xbox, so I'm normally in my own one man party to avoid the people with loud and noisy mics, or the squeakers. Nearly all PUGS I play in, I always call the people idiots. So..I'd have to go with Option #4 on your list.

I don't use my mic cause I am too busy talking to the voices inside my head. only thing I would tell my teammates is to help with objectives.

I would probably roleplay as whatever character I was on, just to see what kind of a reaction I could get.

I never use my mic in pugs, only if invited to a party or if friends want to chat. But on a few occasions, I really felt so compelled to put on my echoey mic just so I can shout out a stream of profanities and obscene language at useless juggernauts who keep spamming their large hex shields at narrow choke points/doorways.

Also, when playing platinum with useless pugs who themselves should only be playing on bronze because they're new to the game (which is like 96% of the time), I just feel so compelled to get on my mic and verbally abuse them for being useless, I have to admit I did this to a group of players last week and got them to leave my game eventually.

I'd probably call revives out to save people medigels, I see a lot of gelling when it hasn't been long enough for a bleed out but someone isn't aware I'm just about a meter past the stupid spinning death camera POV.

I don't use my mic when I play with randoms to stop me yelling most of those things. The most popular for me would be:

"Stop messing up the spawns"

"Don't revive me next to a phantom"

"Yeah, use a rocket on a guardian when it's a target"

"Do I really have to solo again?"

"Stop spamming slash!"

"Please put some equipment on"

"Here let me revive you next to this banshee"

"I'm not reviving you there"

"Stop standing next to me you're getting me hit with splash damage"

What I would mostly do though is constantly tell them what's wrong with their loadouts.
