She look's very pretty but in a realistic way rather than a "women are here to be sexy" way

Liked everything but the fact she's wearing heels in combat. And sure, you could handwave it with magic or something, but that seems just as impractical.
If anyone is Thedas is determined to suffer for fashion, I imagine it'd be an Orlesian.

Does anyone think that she may of been a Saarebas a some point.
She seems to be of Rivani descent. Her hat's resemblance to Qunari/ horns may be her thumbing her nose at the Qun cutting the horns off their mages.
Also as someone who seen mages chained and stiched up she would be more forgiving of the circle's practices, while early education that mages are dangerous things she could see the need for control of mages that the circle provides.

That's true. And it's just a nitpick anyway, not something that will adversely effect my liking of the character.

I'm not 100 per cent certain, but I think she's voiced by Belinda Cornish.

It 's Orlesian. It just as inpractical as her hat. Added, She would be the first DA chracter to fight in heals.Mungolian_ wrote...

She didn't have your classic Orlesian accent, like Leliana for example. She seems to be a very interesting character. I love her confidence!
She was already confirmed as Orlesian, but I wonder if she could have been raised in Rivain? It would explain the accent, as Rivaini characters are given similar accents to Ferelden characters. (Isabela, for example)

To be fair just because she is from Orlais it does not mean she has orlaisian blood. Maybe her parents were from Rivain who moved to Orlais
That wouldn't explain the accent however. If she were raised in Orlais, she should sound French.

After having gone back and listened to Brooks in a scene from that DLC, I have to agree that she does sound a lot like Vivienne. At any rate, if they do share the same VA it would be an excellent casting choice.

BUMP FOR GREAT JUSTICE
We got to see a bit of Vivienne today. She made a strong first impression.
To me she seemed:
Self-confident
Haughty
A bit Saucy
She comes off as a woman who thinks highly of herself and isn't afraid to let others know it. In some ways, this is like Miranda, but I don't think she'll be an 'ice queen.'
What do you think?

I hope so. The mysterious VA who played Brooks, (no one ever seems to have a definitive answer for some weird reason), was great. I just hope and pray she not voiced by Alix Wilton Regan because then we can't be voiced by her.
