The painter woman is not Vivienne. David mentioned that.Mykel54 wrote...
I think that she is indeed bald, and that the "painter woman" from the leak is another character, or maybe a previous concept.

I think the character that looks like a scribe is one of the agents.

Most I've seen seem to think she's our Traynor or Kelly Chambers.

People who download such a mod may well be racist. But at the end of the day a mod is fan made and it's a relatively free society, so it's not worth worrying about it.
On another note, I really like the look of Vivienne so far. The snarkier they come, the funner they are to conversationally joust with. Except Varric. He can be as much of a **** as he wants, because he's my 'bro'/

Has anyone noticed that Viviennes staff (in the PAX demo) looks exactly like Malcolm's Honor from DA2?
If i remember correctly that staff is tied to Hawke familiy. Or maybe BioWare is just reusing the model.
Just noticed that. The one with the naked woman on top of the staff. I doubt it means anyting. They probably needed a powerful staff to use for the demo.

I'm not sure why everyone is seeing her as bald in her icon?? Every time I look at it in multiple videos all I can think of is bust of Nerfertiti in profile.
Fitting since egyptian royalty often shaved their heads and often wore wigs.
Her icon definitely looks bald, with a white cloth or something flowing down the back of her head.
I am unable to copy the image here, but go to the DA wiki and look at Vivienne's page. There is an inventory image that shows the icon at the bottom at a decent size and quality. She definitely looks bald.
It would be awesome if she is indeed bald.

Seeing her in action flinging flame and ice all over place is sooooo awesome.
I like her appearance too.

I am looking forward to having a strong Mage in this game besides my character. The last game Anders thought he was strong but always showed he wasn't and Merrill was just stupid.
This so much. I'm pro mage but I have no problem calling it like I see it. With Anders being a terrorist and Merrill just being an all around ****** who likes to play with fire, it's very refreshing to see a companion mage who seems to be mentally stable, and a good example as to why mages should be treated fairly. Because really, how can someone support mages when the mages you travel with are the reason mages aren't trusted?

Not to inject race into it but Africans and African American can style their hair differently.
Wonder was that ever considered ?

"Corn rolls" wtf
Good catch.
I think the closest thing Dragon Age has to corn rows is Leske's hairstyle.

Silly, nug. It's corn rows not corn rolls. Have you ever seen a field of corn rolls?

Dreads get really dirty and are hell to clean apparently, not the thing for a fashionable upper class lady like Vivienne.
... And I can't think of a reason to be against corn rows but suffice to say I am.

I don't check everything with wikipedia.
shrugs.
I presume at some point she'll remove that hat and we'll see whether she's bald or has hair.
