I wouldn't say so. She can be annoying at times but with her side plot you can get her to agree with you and she admits that she's made mistakes in her past. Morrigan on the other-hand remains arrogant no matter what and then she gets all upset and won't sleep with you at a certain point. ****.

Not so much Lady Gaga as a tame pseudo-Renaissance version of Grace Jones, who like Vivienne is, to use US terminology, a 'person of colour' and, while not French, has personal ties to France (she lived and worked there for a while, and the father of her son is French).





Maybe Vivienne will sing 'La vie en rose' (clicky link to the Grace Jones version below) sometime during DA:I? Would beat 'Leliana's song' .

This. Wynne listens to reason and pretty much has the right to lecture after reaching senior status in a medieval world. Even then, she will admit when he's swrong. Morrigan, however, will continue parroting her mother's Stupid Evil lessons even after you prove her wrong time and again.

Morrigan does grow herself, of course, but Wynne more readily acknowledges her mistakes.

At least Morrigan puts out. A woman who puts out is automatically less arrogant than one who does not.

Seriously though, Wynne agrees with you only when you've met her approval, not the other way around. If you're a Blood Mage and admits it she outright fights you to the death rather than accept you. Wynne never changes herself for you, unlike Morrigan whom you can influence into becoming a different person.

Wynne should have been a cougar and an old player like me should have been able to romance her.
I thought it likely since Gaider killed off Wynne that he would seek to create an antiWynne and Viv seems the likely candidate.

(1) Senior status means less in a medieval world than it does in the modern world, since in the former physical violence is much more effective and essential.

(2) She will admit that she's wrong *about you*, i.e. she realizes that you actually conform to her set of morals unlike she previously believed. To me even when she admits she's wrong she sounds condescending - genuine, but condescending. It sounds more like a parent acknowledging the good behavior of their children rather than a friend who reaches actual understanding and compromise.

She never alters her own morals and principles because of your influence unlike Morrgan (and pretty much every other party member) does. She is simply too old to change. You may not call that arrogance but I would.

i have a feeling she might not survive my play through either. I hope that's not the case more info is needed. At this very early point in time the info I've come across, it does not bode well for the vivster! Lol.

I believe one of the devs (Gaidar?) confirmed it on Twitter.

She is also listed as human on the wiki.
