Besides, any class is fun enough on high enough difficulty. I mean, that's where you have to use every squadmate and play tactically. So I can get my fill of biotics that way on Infiltrator or Soldier.

For Femshep, I think she works best as an Adept. It's all I've ever played for her.
I don't necessarily have a least favorite class. I think Engineer or Sentinel would be the classes that don't really fit in my opinion, but that's just me.

One of my most entertaining files was in ME2 as a Soldier were I intentionally restricted use of Tech/Biotics and took Zaeed and Grunt whenever I was able. Team Dynamo made Insanity laughably easy. Gained a new appreciation for Concussive shot back then.

The same could be said about infiltrators (Shepard never uses the cloak when it would be advantageous) and engineers (Shepard never displays any technical skills apart from one optional DLC moment)Biotics are cool, but it's just kind of jarring for me personally. The story doesn't give many nods to a Biotic Shepard.

They can all hold guns straight. The biotics can keep killing when the ammo runs out.

(F) Shepard - Infiltrator
(M) Shepard - Soldier
I tried Vanguard once in ME2 and saw that Shepard die way too many times. It clearly is not a good match for how I manage Shepard in combat situations.

ME3's vanguard is much more powerful than 2's. Nova blast is superb crowd control. ME2's is higher risk, but has a great payoff when it works.
ME2 vangauard is amazing. ME3 VG is just an OP biotic/soldier God of the battlefield. Seriously, Novaguard is something that must be expierenced. The only challenge I had on insanity was the clone fight in Citade. DLC, which is cause I was fighting a nova guard.

Besides, biotics are a little intangible when there's an example of physical excellence standing in front of you.
I can also roll my tongue.
Never really dabbled into other classes except on multiplayer so I have no real basis to say they're my least favorite.

The Sentinel is the best overall tank in the game. Rather, it was, before they decided to give every class some form of damage reduction (whether it be passive or through powers). The Sentinel is also effective as a caster, having access to a wide array of tech and biotic powers. Properly speccing Tech Armor is obviously the key.
Least Favorite: Soldier-
It's the generic shooter class. It doesn't have any real gameplay gimmick. Not any fun ones, anyway.

Least favorite: Vanguard, Just Charge everything? Lame. I'd rather equip armor piercing ammo on a Mattock X. IMO

Actually, that is very true in my case.
But I also play as an Engineer, which I like very much, if not more, so it hasn't always been biotic Sheps for me. ;-)
edit. Oh yes, I don't care much for shotguns either...or maybe the truth is I suck at using them as well... I guess that's the case, really. LOL

I was thinking that maybe, maybe if I ever care to play a whole ME3 playthrough again, I should try Infiltrator but with an Assault Rifle instead. It should work, too, shouldnt it?
(asking anyone who knows)

If you can spec it in a way that is similar to the turian Ghost in multiplayer, I can see it being viable. Of course, the Ghost also has Stim-Packs. I'm not sure what a good replacement power would be.
