I'm not very good at games but i'm desperatley trying to complete all the waves of the fight for your life scene in the Mass Effect 2 Arrival Dlc. I read somewhere that there is only one heavy mech? NOT TRUE! I killed the mech with one shot of my Cain M-920 and felt so relieved because i'd been trying to beat this for an hour. Then to my utter frustration, out steps another heavy mech and kills me instantly with a rocket!?!?
What's going on??? <_<

A second YMIR mech only shows up if you kill the first one very very quickly.
This has been known for some time, I believe first mentioned here, and then somewhat explained here. If you take the time to read or at least skim through the thread, there are a few players who managed to fight more than one YMIR.

Yeah. The wave mechanics are sort of strange for Object Rho and you can get repeat units if you kill them before each wave "fills up."
