I wouldn't look too heavily into that. Its WAAAY early.
Still it's fun speculating from what little we saw from these interviews

If you want to believe, please do so.
We need more optimism.
Some of us are just gonna be cautious and more careful based on past crashes and clashes of faith in future products.

I need to remind you to slap me very hard when my optimism levels rise. I don't want to be hurt again *remembers ME3*

I'm pretty happy to see that Bioware is taking all of the mistakes they made in the past with DA2 and DAO and making DAI based off of what players think should be in the game. This is so exciting! But the Qunari is puzzling me. He hold Bassrath-Kata (the Arishoks blade) yet I have no idea how he would acquire it or why the new Arishok would be in Orlais (if that even is the new Arishok). O.o The mystery is killing me and I love it! Good job Bioware!

Stoopid question probably but what happened to the original thread?

I notice that in all of the pics of Cassandra, she's only wielding a single handed sword.
hopefully, that's a sign there will be a new, one handed sword style.
that would be perfect for a duelist/rapier style, or even an Arcane Warrior/Battlemage. they can wield a sword in one hand and fire spells with the other.
it would really suck if a companion gets a fighting/weapon style that's only available for that companion.

There's nothing wrong with being excited. I know I am. We should all be cautious on principle, however.
Taking everything at face value will only dissapoint us in the end.
Better to manage expectations and see everything as a possibility tather than a certainty.
It's always worked for me

I DID say relative... I just prefer my Thedas, barring the Darkspawn below and the Dragons above, to be fairly low fantasy. I just don't want stuff like Dragon's Dogma, where there are Griffons and Chimeras stalking around every corner. I prefer such things to be rare.kinderschlager wrote...

I kind of hope it IS just horses. I like Thedas being low on the relative fantastical scale.
yeah....gods, demons, and souless perversions of mortal races are LOW on the fantasy scale.....oh, and don't forget dragons
Same here. And in my opinion the more "high fantasy" elements work better when most of the world is more simple. When everything is floating castles an everyone has a dragon as a pet just devalues the whole thing imho.Lord Aesir wrote...
