I'd like to have some better mage outfits.
More armored than a robe, but not full on plate.
What about a robe-ish outfit with armor on it?
Pictures as a reference?
Something similar to thing but done better

Or this

I liked the Chambion robes from DA:2, just cut down on the spikes..

Yeah I can support something like that in DA.

Oh thats badass.
Yeah I can support something like that in DA.
Though personally I feel both Mages and Templars should need something more functionally than the robes/dresses they wore in DAO and DA2

I think mages on the run need something a little less obvious than a staff and robes.
I also think this would be a good overall resign for the Templars, given their war with the Mages

I would do away with the blood red color scheme.

Yea, I'd still go with their originally color scheme
But the oufit itself (minus the cape?) should be a good new design for the Templars
And Mages should get new outfits too

What, makes them look too much like villains?
Well, there's that, but it also comes off as a needless deviation from the established nickel-plated (it looks nickel-plated, anway) armor from 1 and 2. A change for the sake of having a change, even though it isn't necessary.

The alpha footage looks akin to DA2... Not a good sign.
:/
What footage are you looking at?

I honestly don't mind the blood red though. It ultimately depends on their portrayal.

No worries. I'm expecting the interface to change. Hopefully.LPPrince wrote...
Maybe its because I haven't played DA2 since freaking ever but I don't think of it while seeing that footage.

Tbh, I feel that both Templars and Mages need more functional outfits given the setting of DA:I and the war between them
Plus I always felt the idea of both of them wearing dress clothes to be stupid
