Very happy with the information that's come out so far. And mounts! Mounts are a new addition to BioWare games, so hopefully that'll be well-implemented. I want a griffin named Feathers.

That looks really, REALLY odd.

Not saying bad, just...different. Very different.

Holy crap! The spell Vivienne cast was pretty awesome. She likes fire. ALOT .And the Harpoon ability sounds awesome as well. "Get over here!" will be something I will be yelling at my enemies when I will use that ability.

The only thing that kind of bug me is characters' movements are a bit slow. But other than that, seems solid to me. I like how they did things like making enemies imbalance, drop their guard, and then we can attack when they are vulnerable. It's a lot more interesting than mindless button smashing like DA 2. Look like they did put a lot of thought into combat system.

Looked like it. The footage reminded me of GW2.

Eh, not totally sure on the new combat. I like twitch play, so by all means, it might be great, but I kind of wanted DA to have a much stronger emphasis on the characters' skill, not the player's. No deal-breaker, though.

Mako was a mount.

I guess that's true.  Personally, I tend to think of mounts differently from vehicles in games.  Vehicles feel more...impersonal, I guess?  I'm not explaining it very well, sorry.

Though I hope the DA mounts handle better than the Mako, unless we literally do get a three-legged rhino as a mount in DA:I.

The combat is very important. That's a major part of the game. If you don't like it, good luck. I hate combat in The witcher 2 and It prevents me to play it, despite being really interested by the story.

The Vivienne combat did look good. Did you notice one of the scenes had what looked like a mini-map?

Oh, it's up.

Hah! Who wasn't expecting a new video today? What nowwwwwwwww? (just kidding, we all win)

That does look like dodging. I thought maybe people wouldn't flip out about it due to the fact that there is a talent method of doing it with the harpoon. But of course this will be a huge problem forever now.

Obviously it's all very pre-alpha, but he's got the battle constipation going on worse than the Warden did.

Stiksma guy is cool, I remember seeing him post here.

Hmm. I like the combat encounter design being less about spammy trash mobs and more about interesting and tactical encounters. But i still want to know how Bioware plan to solve the AOE spell issue that they created when they removed the tactical isometric view. I really would like the overhead view back please. But if not, you really need to explain how you plan to solve the issue.

From what i saw, i can't say that i'm thrilled. Combat looks too action-y, but i'll wait till we have something more concrete.

I guess, Bioware will take a long time till they reveal about specializations. I hope i'll be able to play my Arcane Warrior equivalent again.
