"In Dragon Age II, BioWare deliberately presented both groups at their worst, as creative director Mike Laidlaw puts it"

There we go, a nice rebuttal to those people claiming that Templars in DA ][ were "normal."

"But the Chantry, just as fearful, thinks it’s best to make peace."

Also a nice point for all those people thinking the Chantry is evil.

Well, they are praying to a very malevolent god.

Maybe Cassandra was looking for someone to lead the Inquisition?
The Warden and Hawke gained power and influence, so they would seem like good picks to lead such organisation.

hope we will have something more to say about how we want to build our order, not just decide where to send patrols or where to put new camps.

The more I hear about this game, the more I want it. xDD
I am both glad that it'll be another year from now and incredibly sad that it'll be another year from now. xD

Some interesting little gems in there, though it's none too substantial.

None for me, as story elements aren't really what interest me in pre-release news. Didn't read the article except maybe the first lines.

All in all I have to admit I have never wondered what it was like to start the Jedi Organisation considering that I think it a pretty evil one. (The Sith organisation too, but that is neither here nor there).

That doesn't really change the fact that the god they want to bring back into the world is pretty damn evil.

(And so far they have proven that they can't make peace even when they tries, but I think we should make a chantry thread if you want to continue.)

They want peace? Hmm...Now we have no peace and it's Chantry's fault (partially).

I killed liliana when I poured the blood on the ashes, she attacked me, and had to fall with the guardian.. What will that mean? for my DA:I? :(

“I think a big part of Dragon Age II was letting the player see the people who thought that things were bad by these extremists,”

I don't understand what that sentence means, are there some missing words?

The power is in your hands to bring peace back into the world as the Inquisitor. “We’ve always wanted to ask the question, ‘what if you could found the Jedi Order instead of becoming a Jedi?’” Laidlaw says. The space has been made for the Inquisitor to step in and shape the world as you wish. “If [you’re] going to start something, what would it be? What would you make that you would want to be a part of?” Gaider asks, setting up the questions BioWare wants players to explore as the Inquisitor.

So what happens to all this stuff next game? And can't I shape the organisation into something that doesn't have a stupid name and logo?

In my opinion, I think it was lyrium that healed Liliana's injuries. Ohgren states that the place is brimming with lyrium, which means that the ashes, originally powerless, were imbued with the same powers as the lyrium. It makes sense that she'd survive that if this is the case.
