They always could, requirements were not that hard, and restricted armors were too few.

But from what we see so far, yeah, they apparently do.

Other than that, that belt you see, is one of several potential choices for your belt as shown in the concept art.

Basically what the concept art showed, was a lot of different combinations of armor parts for the Inquisitor, regardless of class.

Also, even if Mages don't get all the armor by default(not counting meeting the prereqs like you could in DA2), if there was a AW-like specialization, they would still get them.

I guess the specialization would help if the Mages wanted swords as well, or something similar.

That looks like a Rogue and not a Mage. He has a toolset for lock picking. ))

What are you talking about? in DA2 if you're a mage you get this armor once you become champion of Kirkwall.
