I'll probably do the same in Inquisition regardless, just to extend playtime.


Same, and Oblivion I took the Steed birthsign just so I could be faster than any horse. 

They're cute, but super annoying in game.

I'd like to ask if there will be more choices in the colors of horses we can have, or if our horses will be customizable. I'd really like to have a dappled grey horse with a white or silver mane and tail.

 When they first told us baout "open world" I went "NOOOOOO NOT ANOTHER ELDER SCROLLS!!!" because I love the story focus of DA, so this is how I felt when the reasured us today that the story is still the main focus of the game:

Just saw a concept art from the last video in the Cullen thread , and now I wonder if Isabela is in DA:I.
As an agent maybe?
I mean there's this dark skinned woman with what I think is a piercing under her mouth...

Yeah I noticed that too! I want her as an agent, she'd be great! Though I think we'd be calling her *SPOILERS* now.

Can the grappling hook be used for more than destabilizing shield wearing mooks?
For instance, in this situation, could I use the hook to pull the mage to where I can hit it rather than fighting my way through the spiders?

I think it could be possible, though it'd depend on the range of the chain. The mage in the screenshot might be too far.
By the way, your Warden looks awesome.

I would assume so. I think it's a really neat way to have a "gap-closer" for a warrior. You don't awkwardly chase the kiting ranged unit like it sometimes happened in DA:O nor do you do a 10m jump/dash to reach your enemy like in DA:2.

I agree. I really liked the Warden armour in DA2. The pre-alpha gameplay shows that armour, so I hope it'll remain in the game and we can equip it.

I usually don't mind clipping issues that much but.... watching that great sword stuck on the horse back started to wound my sensibility after a while... :pinched:


Also, LOL at that "Summon pony" button. But I would prefer if the horse wasn't something that appears out of nowhere by pressing a button, yet I guess the "Summon pony" is a temporary placeholder.

I assumed that was the default use, with the stun being the reduced use because you hit a shield.

Maybe when you push the summon pony button, your character whistles and the mount comes running from off screen somewhere and stops next to you.

Yeah, I've watched the video again and the exact quote is "The warriors have an ability called harpoon which basically launchs an harpoon and pulls an enemy towards you."
As phunx said, a neat way of closing the gap for the warriors. Should be useful for killing mages before dealing with the dozen of corpses they just summoned.

I thought about that too... I can already imagine my Inquisitor calling for her mount:

Inquisitor: "Hi-Yo, Silver!"
*You hear Silver galloping as you start seeing the horse's head approaching from the nearest hill, once the horse reaches the top it neighs and stands its rear legs against the setting sun"
