I still would love to see magical bows and arrows, or daggers. You know, for the mage who decided they like the rogue's style. B)

That might over-power the mage class, though. Still, one can dream.
I'm basically living off of the information here. The dry spell is going to hit hard.
Just one year.
One. Year.

Lol, I don't give them a chance to ponder anything! xDD Crispy enemies are the best enemies. lol
I must have missed all the bits on it then since I frequent the twitter thread. O.O
Meh, I'll wait for a version that has everything in one spot. Or until someone links me to it all in one spot. xD

After listening to the last podcast, I like the fact that they are trying to avoid talking about the story or elements that are not 100% locked down, for I think that will prevent people from presuming what the direction of the game and feel the game might go in some direction that it really won't.

I'd really like to see a magical bow without a bowstring.

So with the passive skills, will we have separate skill points for them, or will we have to use the skill points we earn from leveling through combat?

Well that was a lovely month of information with a wonderful finale at PAX. Especially considering there is still a year left in development. Now I sit here wondering how long we wait till the next deluge of information.

Mhm. I'm content with what we have. I can go a looong time without new info and be satiated.

Thank you so much for the month long coverage for dragon age inquisition, I'll enjoy some gameplay even if pre-alpha build. it will satisfy my hunger for a while, and probably will keep me as companion or a shining beacon in the horizon while i handle. . . . college.

anyway, just listened to the podcast and most of it just quelled my curiosity, but there are four things that i REALLY want to see are, personally:

from the pre-alpha gameplay;
more gore (blood) for a game that uses blood splotches before the game screen, there was not much blood in the action part, which should be rectified since the inquisitor looked too clean after cleaving two templars, or add a slider to control how much gore can be present.

deathblows. they are aesthetic awesomeness addition.

from listening to the podcast;

pets, i want a pet mabari or something!

loosen the weapon restrictions. i know you guys are a bit iffy about some weapon gameplay in classes that looks more appropriate in some other classes but please, it could give players to just experiment with what makes their inquisitor unique.

i love dual wielding it maybe a bit risky since it's all offense when I'm a warrior and using such weapon style forces me to add dexterity point causing me also to have a lower attack points. With it's ups and down it's still rewarding, like being a vanguard in ME2-3. high risk since more susceptible to being attack and lower damage (compare to sword and shields, and greatsword damages) but high rewards to have higher attack rates,

SO PLEASE ADD DUAL WIELDING TO DA:I like in origins!!!!! you can even copy the talents from origins to this new game. I'M BEGGING.

well that's it. May the make watch over you all Bioware. good luck!!!

Agreed. There's more than enough details for the community at large to fully digest. I'd say another three months of speculation threads based on the 43:21.31 second mark freeze frame and "WHAT DOES IT MEAN" or threads where people are asking the same question who didn't follow the coverage with a maginifying glass would do this place good right about now.

As of now, people have been on a bender.

Found this article. Not much new there but this sounds interesting if it makes it in the final game:

"...You’ll also see your adventure reflected by the appearance of your
character, with armour scuffing and becoming caked in mud and blood
(although Perry is keen to steer clear of the comedic levels of splatter
seen in Origins)..."

and something about romance:
“The direction I’d like to take the relationship scenes in is like
they were in Mass Effect, where you might have a character that’s nude
but they silhouetted or in shadow, so it’s tastefully sensual and not
graphic.
“I certainly want to stay away from kind of
lace-underwear-Victoria-Secret-lingerie that was in Origins because that
was a little out of place – I’d hate to imagine what underwear would
really be like after questing all day.”

So happy to hear that they are approaching romance scenes with some thought now and not just 'fading to black' like they did in Dragon Age 2.

Mass Effect's romance scenes were done perfectly. It is a mature title after all guys, this fade to black nonsense isn't needed.

Pfft, I don't want just 3 months of radio silence. I mean I don't want them spilling anything new for a good half a year.

Wake us up next Spring. Let us know when Game of Thrones Season 4 starts that Peter Dinklage is doing VO for Inquisition.

I'm doubtful that any invites have gone out so soon, but even if they have, this early in the game, testers would be under NDA (Nondisclosure Agreement) so I doubt many testers would reveal themselves just to get bombarded with questions they aren't able to answer.

Finally someone at Bioware gets it... :innocent:

The problem wasn't that the scenes weren't graphic. The problem was how childish it treated the themes of love and sex.
