There was definitely some snowy areas being built in those videos. And the GI article mentions sandstorms.

or more like the DA2 Darkspawn.......which looked like the Putties from Power Rangers.

Hoping for more DA:O than DA2 out of DA:I's darkspawn, but we'll see.
