I started out with both games on Xbox, but I eventually gave in and, with a few computer upgrades, I decided to buy the PC version of Origins for mods and such. It's so so so much better than the Xbox version, even if it's vanilla. >.< But mostly because of mods, I'd hate playing without them.
So I just bought a new quad core processor to replace my dual core, and I feel like replaying DAII soon after Origins, and I'm thinking with Inquisition coming up, I should consider moving the entire series onto PC. I'm downloading the demo now to see how well things will work. It just doesn't seem as much fun to mod though. (which isn't a bad thing because unlike Origins, I'm pretty much happy with the hairstyles, armor, the way other characters like Isabela look, the way qunari look, etc.) The only thing I'm interested in would be a patch for all those dialogue/import bugs, especially for Zevran's romance (which I assume is still bugged because I think they said they weren't fixing it), and maybe to change Merrill's and Leliana's appearance a bit.
Do you think I should just continue the series on Xbox? Idk what Inquisition will be like.
Is this game as fun to mod as Origins?

I had Origins and DA2 on xbox as well, and I bought both for PC way later.. It's about 300 times more fun. So thumbs up to the "Moving to pc" thing.
There is one "fix" for zevrans bug but it just makes him think you are dead instead... :I
In Merrills case there are a few modded outfits for her, and some nice-looking retextures of her vanilla outfit (+romanced). And since you can't mod elven faces very easily in DA2...most of the morphs for her look a bit..generic or are just (blond/brunette/green eyed/whatever) recolors of her original face.
There are some mods that change Leliana's face, but that's up to your own tastes ^^;
But there are some programs that give you ability to make your own morph and apply it to her if you don't like any of the existing mods.

You should definitely move up to PC. I had so much fun with Origins and those beautiful mods. For Dragon Age 2 the only problem I had with it was how boring and plain the character creation was, but since you seem to like it you should be fine. The only problem you should be worried about with playing DA:I on PC is that your PC won't melt with that damn engine.

With Merrill I just wanna change her hair because it's ugly, and with Leliana I just want her to resemble Sacred Ashes more. But ty guys, I think I'll definitely do everything with this series on PC now. ^.^
One more question, do I have to buy all the DLC again or is it okay since I bought it for Xbox?

I thought there wasn't a toolkit released for DA2.

Ha, yup, if you just want to change her hair, there are some mods for that. And it's pretty easy to do yourself, if you're so inclined.
Er...Sacred Ashes Leliana, there is a mod like that here
I believe if you have registered your game then yes you can just redownload all of your DLC to your pc.
I have the disc version of DAO but I registered it and can download the digital version from Origin incase I lose it or something. I couldn't be much different for your case.
There wasn't ^^Angrywolves wrote...
