I am personally having a hard time deciding whether to first play as a Soldier, a Sentinel, or a Vanguard...

I originally was going to be a Soldier, but a Vanguard's Charge ability looked cool. The Tech armor also got my gears grinding...

I was a Soldier in Mass Effect, so i don't know whether I should change or remain??

Thoughts? (Oh and post your what your playing as too )

Well i have my Adept play through to carry on with in ME2. then I'll probably pay with the Vanguard or Soldier.

I think i may start as a Vanguard too this time. I was usually a Soldier or Sentinel in the first game. It took me a while to get used to using Biotics in combat, so i just left them out for ages.

Adept is my clear number one for my first playthrough. Not many people are really going for it but I really am liking the Engineer which will be number 2.

Sentinel is the way I'm going. With its abilities it looks like the best way to get the most achievements going through the game and the best way to experiance a bit of every kind of class.

I like the Sentinel because when his armour goes down it sends a shock wave that topples nearby enemies, and hes got a bunch of biotic abilities.

Vanguard of course. That's my favorite class from Mass Effect, looking forward to using that again in Mass Effect 2, especially with Charge.

Soldier mostly. All but 2 of my ME1 Shepards were soldiers.



Other 2 were Vanguard and Adept.

Definitely going to be an infiltrator on my first play through. Loving the cloak. Then prolly vanguard, then adept, then engie, then maybe sentinel and soldier.

Play through 1 will be a stereotypical paragon hero Soldier-shep. Play through 2 will be a stereotypical renegade badas$ (With a soft spot for kittens) Sentinel-shep.

i really want to play a vangaurd but at the same time i really want to be able to use assault rifles...anyone ever confirm that there will be achievement bonuses this time around?

I might dabble with the Sentinel, Infiltrator, or Adept for my first 'testing the waters' playthrough. However once I move onto my main characters chances are I'll play as a Vanguard. How much I like the first three classes however will determine what class I choose for my 'Main Shepard'.

Infiltrator, definitely. Having watched some vids, it looks like the sniper rifle will be more viable to use regularly due to enemy range, and I don't really want to play a soldier.
