Who wants to do the no Reegar Drelldept? I'm done with this guy, got a 19:25 run but missed extraction by 0.000001 seconds! -.- I'm gonna upload a nice little 10 WS sub 21 run though and I hope someone else can get the sub 20 solo with him.

I'm aware that I have no piercing in this build, but without wallhack you rarely need to shoot through walls anyway, and I'm pretty sure that the damage output even against armor is highest with Warp IV + Extended Barrel.

I guess going no piercing is only good depending on what you plan to play against...

Then provided you leave banshees alone and you missile them at the end of the wave, and that you deal with ravagers with clusters yeah, I think the setup you posted is probably the best.

Still, I think Collectors are way faster.

Edit: taking radius on evo 4 of clusters reduce the chance to get multiple BEs though, so I would go damage there.

The only thing with no piercing is missing out on double hits against Scions and Preatorians if you go against Collectors. Reapers is not so bad since Ravagers are pretty soft.

I don't know what impact that means for total damage though.

@Deerber: Yeah, Collectors are defintiely faster, but you also get a lot more random deaths (burst fire enemies vs. Drell, you get the idea). Even though I rarely end up with 0 medi-gel, I often simply rage quit in the middle of the game...

Also, you certainly don't need to leave Banshees alone, they are not a problem with this build. Reave + Warp ammo does ridiculous damage to barriers and you can stop them almost as fast as with a Reegar. You can even concentrate on Banshees when there's nothing else to shoot at.

About the radius evolution: You're right, speccing for damage would increase the chance of multiple BE's and is certainly a good or even better choice. However, radius has also its advantages: It increases the chance of getting a Biotic Explosion in the first place (e.g. when throwing grenades over a long distance or when you miss a direct hit), and hitting more enemies with your Grenades is also not a bad thing, since your Grenade damage exceeds a 6+6 BE with this build.

I will pass on the Drell, I almost never play them so I guess I leave that to the Drell specialists...

Sweet! I'm gonna do the Havoc now. Maybe we can even get it done this weeked. The next task would be sub 20 videos for every character (some of them only have screenshots), and after that maybe sub 20's without Reegars.
