To all my fellow capitalist elitists:

A group has made an offer to the City of Detroit to purchase Belle Isle, currently a large, undermaintained park, for $1 billion.

The group believes that they will make their own city a capitalist haven along the lines of Singapore or Hong Kong. It is planned to be semi-autonomous with its own currency. The best part:  All you need to get in is a mere $300k! 

That is, if Detroit sells it to them. Many whiny socialist defamers, such as the NY Times, have demanded Detroit turn down this plan and instead hope for money to fall from the heavens to end the city's bankruptcy. 

So, my friends, would you join the new Belle Isle when/if the City of Detroit takes this much needed semi-free money?
